I have multiple images with 200 layers each. I need to paste the same new layer onto all 200 existing layers. Kind of like adding a logo to a video. Is there a quick way?

I hav several looping videos of local beaches. Most of each video is sky and sand: I don't want those pixels to change. A small part is the rolling waves. When I use a video editor, compression artefacts cause pixels in the sky and sand to change. This creates a large file size. But if I export the frames as layers in the GIMP, I can add a static image of the same sky and sand onto every layer. The resulting saved WebP image looks better, and has a much smaller file size. But this requires me to manually add 200 copies of the static layer (the sky and sand) to the 200 animated layers. It takes ages! Is there a way to just say "add this to every layer"?

Hey All,
I'm new here (this sub was suggested to me by someone over at scifiwriting) and pretty new to Reddit in general, so apologies if I'm doing this wrong, and thanks for your patience. I've written a sci-fi novel and have been shopping it around with pretty limited luck — I just can't seem to get past the query stage. Those that have actually read the manuscript all seem to really enjoy it, so I think maybe I'm hosing up the query itself. Hence, why I'm here.
This is actually the 3rd or 4th version of the query (I did a workshop at a writer's conference not too long ago), but I haven't shared it with anyone yet, so y'all are my test audience (and I appreciate it very much). FWIW, I'm a published author but only short stories in a couple of mags and I have no representation of which to speak.

Dear [READER],
Foxhound, a steadfast mercenary transporting a prisoner from the edge of the solar system back to Earth, is compelled to answer an SOS from a cultist colony ship orbiting a remote mining asteroid. She’s informed that eviscerated bodies, the very marrow ripped from their bones, have been found aboard the city-sized vessel and that the cultists already have the suspected serial killer in custody. But when she boards the colossal ship, she discovers that the suspect in question is actually a young orphan girl—one that Foxhound finds disturbingly familiar.
But before she can piece together who the girl is, how their lives intertwine, and what—or likelier who—orchestrated their implausible rendezvous, a group of violent prisoners aboard Foxhound’s own starship breaks free. And the once-peaceful cultists have taken up arms in response. Amid the chaos, Foxhound must team up with her mechanized AI assistant and two of the cult’s wayward members to stop the barbaric escapees, elude the grasp of the cult’s enigmatic, radicalized leader, and protect and extract the mysterious, potentially dangerous girl.
THE MARROWER (70,000 words) is a character-driven science-fiction action-thriller intended to be inclusive, accessible, and diverse, meeting the requirements of both the Bechdel and Mako Mori tests. The book will appeal to lovers of sci-fi in the tradition of James S.A. Corey (The Expanse), Pierce Brown (Red Rising), Battlestar Galactica, Bungie’s Destiny video game series, and Star Wars (especially The Mandalorian).

In his four years working for DMC-Sec’s boots-on-the-ground District Management Team, he had never seen a security substation so empty. Even for Deadwood—one of the smallest backwater mining asteroids, floating around the Kuiper Belt so far beyond the reach of the sun’s rays—it seemed unusual, concerning even. There wasn’t even an officer stationed at the reception desk.
“How should I know?” replied his captive, a gaunt, worse-for-wear man known around the station only as “Fink.”
“Wasn’t talking to you.” Vasquez shoved Fink, sending the bald, slender man shoulder-first into one of the security substation walls.
“Hey, watch it, man,” the prisoner whined, righting himself. He shook his wrists, jingling the cumbersome cuffs that kept his arms secured behind his back. “Kind of at a disadvantage here.”
In the short time they had been together, Vasquez had already begun to understand why some of his fellow officers chose to use violence as a means of keeping the rabble around the station in check. It wasn’t his style. In fact, it was a point of pride to Vasquez that he never bent the rules when it came to enforcing what limited laws there were on Deadwood, but Fink had pushed him to his limits through sheer annoyance and indignation.
Vasquez had picked up Fink while undercover on a human trafficking sting. The skeletal man hadn’t been the target, and the corporal had blown his cover by bringing him in, but Vasquez simply couldn’t ignore the flagrance with which Fink had approached him. Worse, Fink was offering up children for sale. The conversation between them had lasted mere minutes before Fink was in cuffs and Vasquez was marching him back to the security substation for processing.

Hi there. Yesterday out of nowhere, I booted up my PC to experience no display on my monitor and it auto resets after 15-20 seconds. It also seems like none of the USB slots aren't working as well.
My 1070 and the mobo does light up, but my internal capture card doesn't. I can't seem to pin point the main problem as this is a first with this PC after 8 years of use and this is new to me. I was planning on upgrading soon anyway, but was wondering if there was a way to fix this issue.

Hi, very new to using FCP here, and video editing in general. I'm adding text to my videos, just like notes/addendums to the things I'm saying (video essay), and I'm finding it weirdly hard to just... add normal text. Like, I wanna be able to add whatever text I want, in whatever font/colour, in whatever position, and without additional effects. But in the Titles menu, all I'm seeing is like: 3D, 3D Cinematic, 360°, Build In/Out, etc etc. I just want normal text to appear normally. What I want isn't even a "title" really, it's just text on a screen. I feel like I must be crazy for not seeing an option for that here, though. Am I? Where is this extremely basic option, or is it actually not available??

How do you all hate this show so much, for exactly the same reason you ban European clubs as racist gatherings in Anglophonic universities whose yellow fever policies were started by Americans and Australians?
You're completely misinterpreting the show. "All of Emily's achievements are made through comedic timing or coincidence"...this is the only show where progressions of events actually make sense with a bunch of commercial strategies that actually show a career. The most coincidentally people have ever popped up was because they live in the same city or received phone calls or tried to swarm the best venues at the same time. Other sitcoms have rely on 30 year old waitresses, people who are fired and re-hired 6 times in a season just so HIMYM can play with using middle class money up and downs to make plot instead of daring to paint a picture of whether there could be a story with a stable life. Emily doesn't end up liked because she's superior. She ends up liked because it's theatrically important for the people to end up justifying themselves and proving that they fit in, because they are the protagonist whose views about life are in the minority. It's a vantage point not a whose culture is better thing. There are 3 allegories per side to what a break means in Friends. Mindy doesn't have a personality...to you...does Sheldon Cooper have a personality? We don't know whether he's afraid of being sexual or afraid of germs. One day he just fucked Amy and we don't know how he got over it, and the audience made Kid Sheldon into a show just to make some drama out of self hatred for not being a prodigy while needing him to be put under the control of a school in order for adults to feel good about the fact that he can be patronized. "Her boss has every reason to be upset that they sent someone who doesn't even speak French...". You quote the “we can never be friends but we can work together". Emily's from a branch that OWNS this branch and hired all the people in it. She doesn't need to speak French as much as 3M headquarters doesn't need to send Japanese speakers to 3M Japan. 5 people refuse to communicate with her for several days and straight up tried to force her ass back to America...in a..commercial career, not language based career, translator or diplomat. You've shown a circular view of the city from above next to the plating of that dish you can see how the contours of the city look and if it is a dish you'd know she meant Paris looks like what it looks like in the city the movie's set in. The show pretty much makes it clear that she's bland pussy he wouldn't pay to travel and fuck and for all that a city is propped up to be the opposite of Lagos Nigeria Emily is supposedly problematic to be exclamative of it according to you because you're a MovieSins copy who thinks he's slick for anti-melodramatizing everyone who's excitable because you can't pull a solemn vibe or sentiment of weight even if Mortal Kombat theme song was chasing you for it.
