- I've disabled my 5GHz network and only enabled the 2.4GHz
- I've made my network name and password alphanumeric
- I've uninstalled AdGuard and my VPN
- I've turned off mobile data on my phone
- I've tried using an iPhone 11 Pro, an iPhone 8, and an Android
- I've put the router, dock, vacuum, and phone all right next to each other (literally touching)
- I've done a factory reset
- I've turned off and on the router, my devices, and the roborock
- I've tried both the Roborock app and the Mi Home app
- I've allowed all permissions requested by the app
I have no idea where to go from here.
If anyone has suggestions, I would be really grateful.

Way earlier in my playthrough I found Dragon Aerie before I was nearly strong enough to take it, and after discovering and triggering the dragon attacking I used a Return spell to get out of there determined to go back later. I do eventually go back like 30 hours later and there's no dragon. From my research it seems that if you trigger the dragon at all and leave it doesn't come back, which is annoying. Is there anyway to respawn the dragon so I can properly fight it? Maybe a console command to reset the cell or something?

Hello, today the keyboard started having some weird issues. Yesterday it was working just fine and nothing has happened to it since then. Today I turn on the PC and notice the keyboard starts typing by itself, the same exact keys. Some keys like backspace stopped working completely, no matter how hard I press them. I tried a factory reset, a complete driver reinstallation, changing USB port, even trying the keyboard on another PC, the issue persists. I seriously have no clue what happened, there was a storm this morning but I would hardly believe that was the issue. I have already contacted Steelseries support about this and waiting for a response, but just what the hell happened to it? Does someone ever had such a problem?

Hey Reddit. Really hoping someone here can help me out because I'm in a real bind. I upgraded my phone yesterday and switched my SIM to the new phone, but over the course of the day I lost my old phone which still has all of my two-factor authentication, authenticator apps, and a 256GB Micro SD with all of my important media and files saved on it.
I've tried android.com/find since it should still be logged into my Google account but, obviously, since it doesn't have an active SIM card, it has no data and since it is locked, it cannot connect to unknown WiFi networks. It does still have the old SIM installed, so perhaps if it's possible for my carrier to reactivate that SIM, I would be able to reach it that way.
I was also able to find the IMEI through android.com/find so I may be able to track it that way once it is turned back on, which is promising since the IMEI remains the same even after a factory reset.
That's all the information I have, I'd really appreciate any help or advice that you can offer based on what I've provided.

Hello all! last night I was trying to use my Samsung Galaxy A13 and out of the blue it restarted. It wasn't like, a normal restart either since it took a couple minutes for it to turn on. Now, the phone is stuck on that "Phone is starting..." screen.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Model: SM-A136U If the IMEI and serial is needed, let me know. What triggered this: I opened my games folder to play Castle Cats.
Now, I'm not very knowledgeable in phones (I'm better with computers) so really all I could think to do for troubleshooting was googling the problem (nothing came up because google thought I was having boot loop problems. It is not stuck in a boot loop.) And restarting the phone myself (I didn't even know you could restart a phone on the starting screen!)
I'm not sure what to do at this point! Do I have to factory reset it? Should I contact Samsung support? Afaik I have no warranty on this phone (either because it expired or I just didn't bother, I can't remember)

I keep trying to create a schedule on my for an outlet, but when I set an on/off time say on at 4:30 and off and off at 10 it will set both times the same. I’ve tried: Factory Reset. Deleting the schedule and redoing it. Removed the app and reinstalled. Removed it from HomeKit. Tried it on my iPhone and iPad. Made sure my IOS and Kasa app were updated. They are useless at this point. No luck. Any suggestions or ideas?

New devices often fail to connect to the network, and devices like my phone or work laptop that aren't connected all the time sometimes have difficulty reconnecting. The phone (android) usually reports a "connection failed" message in these cases.
Repeatedly restarting the device manually sometimes helps for a time.
I've contacted FIOS support and they had no solutions other than just performing a factory reset, which I'd like to avoid if other options exist due to how many devices I have set up with the network.
I also have some wifi extender and a PiHole, all of which predated these issues.
Does anything about this story seem familiar, and if so do you have any advice on how to fix this?

Anyone else having issues with the spectrum app continuously asking if you want to keep watching? Spectrum ofcourse says no issues on their end and to reach out to roku or hisense. App works fine on another brand roku tv, Samsung TV and 2 roku boxes. Not sure what to do. I have reset tv to factory 2 times reinstalled, checked the time out settings for tv and in app. Other streaming channels work fine. 🤷

i'm having difficulties installing the OTA updates and i suspect it's because i modified the system partition, because i need access to an IP exposed through ethernet after tethering / internet connection is enabled. I do this with a bash script that checks if my host is still available and if not executing an "ip add route" command.
Any pointers in the right direction for this?
It would also be fine if i could undo overlayfs activation / return to the unmodified system partition and redo it again after the update.

Bought my laptop on january, it came with Windows 11 21H2 (got prompted to update to 22H2 later the same day) and some proprietary bloatware. I set it up skipping ms account as usual, remove some crap, install my stuff and copy my backups, no issue. Used it until today.
I recently installed a second ssd on the other m2 slot the laptop had and used it as a data disk. I also made a small partition on it with Hiren's boot in case I need to back stuff up and windows fails, that partition, I didn't give it a letter so it doesn't appear in explorer.
Fast forward today, I did a clean install, allegedly according to microsoft website topics, "a factory reset", I selected "delete everything" and "wipe the drive windows is installed in" like they said.
It really wasn't a factory reset since 22H2 was installed from the beginning, and a lot of the oem crapware didn't get installed. Welp no biggie. Second ssd wasn't touched, but windows gave a letter to the other partition i purposedly had hidden welp no biggie again I went on disk management and removed the letter problem solved. Set up local account again of course. Installed all updates (including May's that I was postponing on my previous install) and put my programs and files back in.
I was finished few minutes ago and for some reason I opened disk management and I saw it. Both my C and D drives (separate physical drives, the second one being NOT A WINDOWS SYSTEM DISK) are marked as 'encrypted by bitlocker'
Of course I got goosebumps when I saw that, since the last thing I want is to get locked out of my own pc. After some research I discovered the option to decrypt the drives and it did so without asking for any password or key thank god. Now I checked on disk management and cmd and the disks are now unlocked and not marked as encrypted anymore.
That said...what the actual f
I just want to use my pc with no worries.. How do I make sure that #@&# never tries to encrypt my drives ever again?..

- Bitlocker is supposed to be Pro only, I have Windows Home
- Drive Encryption in general is supposed to be only when you log into a MS account, but I bypassed that in the OOBE with [email protected] plus gibberish password and I am definitely a local account
- Encryption is supposed to only affect the C drive trustmebro it doesn't support non os drives, but Windows encrypted my D as well
I just want to use my pc with no worries.. How do I make sure that #@&# never tries to encrypt my drives ever again?..

Yesterday, I received an old, 2013, QNAP TS-420. I factory reset it, updated it to the latest firmware, "bitched" at the fact the former IT guy who managed this thing used regular computing HDDs instead of NAS HDD's, and set it up in a RAID 5 configuration to give myself and my brother a cloud storage solution.
What else could I do with this NAS though? I've considered getting into "CHIA", but... there is no clear guides (at least, in my opinion) on setting it up.
I've looked into PLEX, but the App Store doesn't list it (anymore?)
What else could I use this NAS for?

2023.06.02 12:18 Tertan AiMesh AX11000 dropping Internet Connectivity periodically
Tldr - AiMesh with AX11000+AC68U or AX11000+AC88U with Ethernet backhaul causes main router to drop Internet connectivity. Router page shows WAN connected, but Networking Tools ping function unable to ping 8.8.8.8. Unable to connect to Wi-Fi, LAN devices no Internet. SSH into main router, ipconfig shows eth0 having public IP address, but unable to ping 8.8.8.8. When using AX11000 standalone without AiMesh, router was 100% stable for a week without any drops in connectivity. Added a node to AiMesh and connectivity issues started occurring within an hour. Restarting the main router helps, but issue will reappear again soon (from hours to days).
I am experiencing drops in Internet connectivity with my main router for at least a year. Router can be stable for many days, but will suddenly lose Internet connectivity. Sometimes it will self-recover after a few hours, other times I will need to manually reboot the main router to resolve. However recently (~1 month ago) the issue is becoming worse - dropping network connectivity within hours, and I need to restart my ISP issued ONT (Optical Network Terminal) to regain network connectivity.
I did a factory reset of my AX11000 and upgraded to the latest Merlin firmware 388.2_2. Internet was stable for a week without any drops. I upgraded my AC88U to the latest AsusWRT firmware and connected it as an AiMesh node via Ethernet backhaul and my Internet connectivity started dropping within an hour. AX11000 router page shows that WAN is connected with public IP, AiMesh is connected, AX11000 has white WAN light. However pinging 8.8.8.8 via the "Network Tools" feature or via SSH does not work.
I was previously using AX11000+AC68U with AiMesh but was facing the same problem. I suspected it could be due to my old AC68U having issues, which was why I bought an AC88U. But my new AC88U is facing the same issue. I have seen several people asking about AiMesh Internet issues, but with no resolution. Does anybody face this issue before, and are there any solutions?

There used to be a TiVo remote control cheat sheet published online. I had it saved in my Google cloud and it disappeared! I also had it saved in my favorites/bookmarks and the link is no longer valid meaning somebody deleted the contents of the page.
It had such commands as to use your peanut remote to disappear the banner at the bottom of the screen or put the clock in the upper right hand corner, amongst other things. I have the commands to do those two things and will share them with you here (in case you'd find them handy as well) but I'm trying to find the whole cheat sheet.
Does anybody happen to have it still?
In brevity, and just to be helpful for anybody that's curious, to put the clock on your TiVo screen (you have to be watching a recording while putting in the commands otherwise they don't usually work):
Select ~ Play ~ Select ~ 9 ~ Select
To make the annoying long bar disappear when you pause a program:
Select ~ Play ~ Select ~ Pause ~ Select
There are a whole bunch of things that you can do with your peanut remote. Some are very useful and some are sort of silly like the Easter egg. I really would like to get that list back if anybody has it still as I just hard reset my TiVo and lost all of my special "tweaking".
