2023.03.29 07:23 Sarmelion Orc Leadership Going Forward (Orc Heritage Quest Spoilers)
The Orc Heritage quest reintroduces several orc clans prominent in the MU Horde through the Kosh'harg festival and brings back many lesser known NPCs elevating them to A list prominence or at least bringing them back to B & C lister status. I'm very interested in speculating on where the orc narrative will go from here and what folks are interested in seeing.
Jorin Deadeye of the Bleeding Hollow has no other bleeding hollow NPCs but is seen speaking with Ritssyn from the warlock order hall. Ritssyn mentions Jorin's plan to move the Bleeding Hollow entirely to Azeroth is 'bold', which coming from a warlock of black harvest implies something's up. I'm hoping he's not villainbatted and instead we see the Bleeding Hollow turn into a sort of "Dark Magic" research group, with Jorin and the Hollow's use of Blood magic letting them 'hack' old god and Hakkar / Ghuun blood magics so Horde members can use them.
Gorgonna is now the Warsong leader, and Shokia and Nazgrim are both back. I'm hoping Gorgonna's more honor focused take causes them to finally clear out the demons around Grom's grave and get the Warsong to fight some worthy enemies, ideally they'll tie into an arc about the Kor'kron no longer being evil too.
Eitrigg leads the Horde Blackrock Clan, and Ariok is confirmed alive (Still a Orc-hulk but he's able to talk alright) and Thura (Saurfang/Broxigar's niece from that awful emerald nightmare book) is back. The current Horde Blackrocks are all more of the 'Elite melee fighter' which has a lot of overlap with the Warsong, so I'm hoping we see a mechanist or blacksmith/architect focus come into play with them, to get the EK former Dark Horde Blackrocks to do something constructive.
Gorfax Angerfang leads the Dragonmaw and many Dragonmaw NPCs from Twilight Highlands are back. Gorfax is in an interesting spot since he used to just... straight up die in Alliance questing, but now he's very dedicated to the clan getting strong without enslaving others. I'm kind of hoping they fight Vrykul Dragonhunters in Dragonflight and get a 'true bond with your mounts' type vibe, whether they get a bond with dragons or protodrakes or some other type of flying beast.
Thega Graveblade leads the Shattered Hand, former leader Gordul is still alive, and Garona is considering joining the Shattered Hand. This is a tricky one but the MU Shattered Hand used to have a lot of trolls in it, it'd be interesting to see them recruit non-orcs and do a deep dive on the politics between the various Horde races.
Thrall still leads the Frostwolves, and Nazgrel is back (I Believe he's a Frostwolf?) but there's also an interesting note in that Thrall apparently vouched for the Orc "Arcweavers" from Siege of Orgrimmar and there's an orc mage who mentions her family were frostwolves. It's also mentioned that some Tauren settled in Alterac Valley after going there to fight in the Battleground. So it'll be interesting if Frostwolf shamanism blends with mage techniques and tauren members join.
The last survivor of MU Shadowmoon orcs makes an appearance, and Lantressor of the Burning Blade is also around but they both have no intent of refounding their clans, though Lantressor chats up the Horde-Loyal burning blade warlocks and they fanboy over him a bit, while the Shadowmoon survivor talks about teaching the MU orc priests from the Lok'osh group old shadowmoon techniques and keeping them from going off the rails.
As a broader theme, it'll also be interesting if Blizz finally decides to expand on orc culture now that they seem to be 'done' with Horde going into cycles of villainy and redemption, and focus on other culture clashes like...
Shamanism vs Warlock culture clash
Primal Traditions vs the Heavy Industrial culture clash
MU (Azeroth) / Mu (Outland) / AU (Warlords of Draenor) Orc Culture clash

2023.03.29 03:12 illucio Shamanism Pitch v1.0
Introduction: After reviewing Jagex’s pitch and community ideas, here is my proposal for the new skill Shamanism. Similar to the Slayer skill, Shamanism will be trained like a gathering and production skill that requires interacting with spirits to purify the embodiment of nature they represent by performing "tasks" called Rituals.
Gameplay: As players level up Shamanism, they will notice and interact with more spirits that require tasks to be completed. These tasks involve performing rituals to help spirits purify nature, purifying the waters of a lake or cleansing a tree spirit from being infested by a dark force. To complete the rituals, players must acquire specific items from locations both on and off task. Other players can also opt-in to the ritual circle to help complete tasks for shared Shamanism XP. To complete these rituals, you will be requested to acquire things to sacrifice or use for the ritual. In order to perform the rituals, you will need to gather sacrificial items or other resources to use in the process. These items can be a combination of task-specific components and tradable in-game resources. You will be given a list of required items from specific locations.
Example of a task: “Collect the 24 entrails of a Spined larupia from Feldip Fields, two dozen Teak logs, 50 pieces of iron forged in Falador furnace, and a hundred trout bones from Barbarian River”.
Rewards: Leveling up Shamanism unlocks the Shamanism “prayer book,” which focuses on prayers to enhance resource gathering and production skills. Similar to Prayer, using the Shamanism prayer book drains Shamanism points. Additionally, Shamanism outfits can provide boosts to Shamanism drainage to help preserve points.
Similar to prayer, Shamanism also has outfits that can enhance the skill and help conserve points. These outfits may include items specifically designed for the skill or items with a nature or animal theme, such as the Hunter Gear outfits like the Larupia, Ghraahk, and Kyatt Hunter outfits, Splitbark Armor, 3rd Age Druidic Armor, and more.
As your Shamanism level increases, your ability to perceive and interact with spirits in the world also increases. The Rifts act as portals to enter the Spirit World, which becomes accessible at the more you train Shamanism. While in the Spirit World, your Shamanism Points gradually deplete, and once they are depleted, you will be kicked out of the Spirit World rift and must wait for you or someone else to discover a new one. During your stay in the Spirit World, your Shamanism "Prayers" have a heightened effect at the cost of shortening your time within the Spirit World via point drainage.
The Spirit World exists parallel to Gielinor and shares similar landscapes and structures, but with noticeable differences, such as overgrown trees in Varrock and blocked paths now being accessible or new paths being blocked or out of reach. Moreover, the Spirit World is home to boss fights against large, dark spirits that drop rare loot that can be brought back to the mortal realm. Also good and bad spirits who offer tasks that involve performing rituals on rare items, like the Draconic Visage, to imbue dragon protection on armor, or imbuing a harpoons to catch more fish by finishing a ritual within the spirit world within the time you are there. In addition, there are opportunities to gather unique resources within the Spirit World that can be brought back and used to create new outfits and weapons through smithing, fletching and crafting.
Conclusion: Shamanism skill would combine the Slayer and Prayer Skills for Production and Gathering Skills, acting as a item sink for resources, while revitalizing existing areas of Runescape. The ability to access Shamanism unique "Prayer Book", ability to enter Rifts that appear dependent on players' Shamanism level and gain the ability to complete tasks within the Spirit World to unlock imbues to items as a unique twist. By finding and interacting with spirits, players can use their Shaman skills to act as a protector and spiritual guide to spirits by maintaining the balance between the world of Glielinor and the Spirit World, unlock new skilling abilities, and explore a new parallel world.

2023.03.29 00:48 Abide-Trabex Hear me out, the new skills are…
Was thinking about this, and I really wanted to share my thoughts. We are helping create the new skill, Jagex won’t make something we don’t want because we have direct communication with the developers during the whole process. Any of these skills would be great, and I can’t imagine the mods releasing anything terrible. Besides, we would let them know if they missed the mark and we actually want to go back to the drawing board. Let’s all share our thoughts and expectations of the skill pitches. What it would require for these skills to be great! Share your thoughts, let’s not dog on each other, let’s come together and collaborate!
so I love the thought of Shamanism! I also made suggestion of dimension traversal in an alternate reality, mirroring the main world. Gathering resources there. Jagex probably didn’t see my suggestion, but I love the changes in their pitch. I think it would be an amazing experience to train shamanism! And I really like how it could fit in OSRS lore and thematically I find it so exciting! So I am naturally bias, but won’t cry if the other two skills get chosen instead.
Shamanism changes/implications I would love:
There are so many things we could do with this then enhance our gear! I almost wish we would completely toss the “power creep” possibility thing and focus on niche things in general that the skill could provide!
I’m spit balling here, so bare with me lol
Effects on aggression in combat: Think about this, you make an oil, do a ritual on your weapon or! We are given a new equipment slot (like they suggested) you equip a totem you’ve carved to resemble a specific creature type that it will effect, in combination with the oil it gives off a smell. The creature finds it offensive and will actively be aggressive to you for the next 30 minutes of time.
Or you create a combination that causes a specific enemy type to become sluggish and it now attacks 1 tick slower then before!
Or maybe a foul combination the provokes fear to the creature and they will refuse to attack you and actually run away from you!
A combination of things that allow you to drink prayer potions that go above your current prayer level by one prayer dose!
Just a few ideas for combat. These would have their uses but not be just straight adding buffs to your gear. I hate the thought of just adding +1 str boost for 30 minutes on my bandos, Idea… It should be steered away from. Let items be cool because they are cool, without making it a hassle. Plus we already have potions.
There could be some implications for skilling too, idk, you give your thoughts on that though. Lol
On topic of the spiritual realm: It should be mirrored and different 100% large areas but not the whole map. Just segments of large areas we know. Twisted more and more the deeper we go in the realm.
What if we would preform rituals on our gear sets, that would allow us to bring specific item types into the spiritual world and make them useful there? Aiding us in exploration and combat in the spirit realm?! Otherwise without the gear going through the rituals in the real world they would be unusable in the spirit realm? And if we wore them and entered into the spirit realm without going through the ritual, those items would remain with our bodies in the material world?
But in order to perform such rituals on specific items, it would require to have the same Shamanism level as the required stats needed to equips them. Rune items = lvl 40 shamanism. Dragon = lvl 60 shamanism etc etc
And depending on the combination you use in the ritual, augmentations to the gear you use in the spirit realm can then have special effects and buffs inside the spirit realm. Being ineffective in the real world! So then we can explore really cool additions to our gear but it not effect the real world apart from the materials we are able to collect from the spirit world and bring back!
And I think in the spirit world would become more and more dangerous the deeper we would go. But the deeper you go the more valuable the spiritual resources you are able to collect!
Death in the spirit world should just kick you out of the spirit realm haha just saying. We don’t need our souls being killed 😅

2023.03.28 23:30 Royal-Employee90 How is enhance shaman?
I’ve been a UHDK main since launch of dragon flight basically, but I took a much needed break from PvP once ret pallys started popping up like weeds.
So I’ve been gearing my shaman, and having a lot of fun with him. Damage isn’t incredibly consistent, but I hit super hard. Currently only like 366ilvl. I can’t decide if I want to PVE or PvP with him though.
I’m afraid I know my answer, since I haven’t seen too many enhancement shamans in PvP. But I wanted to come ask the community how it’s going? What rating have you climbed to? What was the hardest challenge for you? (I.e., what classes give you trouble, rotation, etc.)
The only shaman PVP experience I have is back on classic wow, running around stomping people with a 2h, and it was fun even if it’s mostly luck of the wind fury.

2023.03.28 16:27 mdubz1221 Hey guys I need advice coming back to WoW
So I havnt played since very start of pandora. Alot has probably changed since then so I want some advice on choosing a class. I love both pve and pvp. I wanna be competitive in 2v2 and 3v3. Anyways I'm stuck between rogue, warrior and dk. I'm kinda leaning war or dk cause I wanna tank in pve but I can always make an alt for that. For reference I use to play enhanced shaman and it was rough in pvp I could only get to 2000-2200, this time around I wanna play a more competitive class.

2023.03.28 15:39 MrTerkyMan [A][US][Stormrage] Mythic Prog Guild [3/8M], LF Enhance Sham & Resto Druid, LF M+ Players and Casuals/Socials for 10.0.7 and beyond!
Aegis is a Mythic progression guild on US-Stormrage. Traditionally, our singular focus has been in this Mythic progression. We have achieved AOTC with ease every tier since our inception, and then pushed into mythic. With 10.0.7, we are looking to broaden our horizons with the start of a Mythic + team, as well as more focused efforts in building a community of players to do content with on a daily to weekly basis.
Mythic Progression Team
Raid Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 9PM - 12AM EST/Server
Progress: 3/8M 8/8H Vault of the Incarnates 4/11M SoFO, 4/10M SoD, 6/10M Nathria
Desired Classes: - Enhance Shaman
- Any Healer, Pref Resto Druid
- Any exceptional DPS/Healer can be considered
Contact: MrTerkyMan#1185 on Bnet / Tokkul#6691 on Discord / Tokkull in game
We are a semi-hardcore raid team that looks to push into Mythic each tier, while still having fun. We don’t want raiders to have the game feel like a job - we want to push content to as high a level as possible without sacrificing people’s enjoyment. If you’re interested in learning more details about our raid team, please reach out to Tokkul via any of the points of contact listed above.
Mythic+
We are now looking for and welcoming anyone interested in finding a home to run keys with. The goal here is to have a “team” of sorts, made up of any member interested in doing keys on a semi-regular basis. We have many raiders that push 20’s and above and hope to augment them with M+ focused players that are also looking to push high keys. On the flipside of the coin, we also have a variety of non-raiders who play keys at a variety of levels. We welcome anyone interested in doing M+ either as their main form of game engagement, or as a side activity to have a place to go to before having to pug. Anyone of any skill level is welcome to join seeking out M+ in any of these situations. Raiders, their alts, M+ focused members, and casuals/socials can come together at key levels of all skill levels and play together for fun, to push, and to develop their skill!
Casual/Flex Raiding
As we grow, we hope to hold off-night raiding events for the more casual players in the guild. These would be open to just about anyone! Raider alts, M+ team members of all levels, casuals, socials- whatever you classify yourself as, we can help you clear the current raid content and have fun without the pressure of committing to a scheduled raid team. Usually held on the weekends, we plan to run Normal and/or Heroic clears of the current raid content to help gear folks alts for the Mythic team or M+ players, as well as provide an avenue for the more casual folks to see the content and maybe get AOTC when they wouldn’t have otherwise. As the tier progresses, to invest in our base we also may bring folks along that categorize themselves in this bucket to Heroic and Mythic farm bosses so they can see the fights and get some extra gear.
A Fun Place To Hang Out
Here is the TLDR list of what Aegis has and is looking to expand on. If you’re interested in any of the following, feel free to reach out and join us!
- Mythic Raiding
- High End Mythic+, +20’s and above
- Mythic+ +19’s and below
- Casual, non-committal Normal & Heroic raiding
- Having a home to chat and hang out in while doing your own thing

2023.03.28 13:50 Aurarus Shamanism can "fix" Hunter
2023.03.28 13:05 ItsChon None of the new skills are fit for OSRS.
Skip to the bottom for TL;DR.
I will preface my statement by saying that I am not one of those people that is against adding new content to the game. I voted for a new skill, and I do think that adding a new skill to the game will be a good thing. That being said, none of the three skills that were introduced to us should be added to the game. To be clear, this does not mean the content described in the skill pitches isn't good. As an example, I can totally understand the appeal of expanding the scope of OSRS to include the ocean. I just want to present two questions that every person should ask themselves when trying to determine whether or not something should be made a new skill.
- Can the proposed idea fit into another skill?
Many people have expressed the opinion that instead of working on a new skill, we should be updating our old, outdated skills. I think almost everyone can agree that there are many skills in OSRS that could use some slight tweaks and updates to make them more relevant and interactive. The development team has shown that they are working on this goal, with the recent update regarding forestry, and I'm sure there will be many more such updates to come. This highlights the fact that working on a new skill is not mutually exclusive with updating old skills, and I think it's important that we don't label new content as a skill simply because we want said content, when it could be added to the game later as part of a future skill revamping process.
This is my primary problem with a skill like sailing. While the pitch for sailing is admittedly very sexy, and the synergies with existing skills are obvious, what about sailing is so unique that we couldn't introduce it to the game under the other skills? In fact, I'd argue that it would work
even better as an expansion project that worked under other skills. Building ships could fall under construction, with the higher level of construction you have correlating to the better quality ship. The types of wood to build the ship already falls under woodcutting, and processing the wood could fall under crafting. Once we're out to sea, our fishing skill will obviously dictate the types of fish we can catch, and our Slayer skill can determine the islands that we might be able to access with their new monsters and content. We can even introduce agility to the mix by having it effect our sailing ability. Many of the ideas expressed in sailing are great, but they would work far better as a separate activity and content update, than a separate skill, and it would only add to the existing content that we already have.
The same can be said about Shamanism, although to a lesser degree. We already have Herblore, and as it exists now, it's just a skill where we put herbs into water. Why not give it some depth? Why not introduce the gathering mechanic proposed in Shamanism to Herblore? Why not introduce the harvesting mechanic from different creatures to hunter and slayer, depending on the creature? Why not make accessing the Spirit Realm something that ties into our existing Magic skill? These things can fit within the existing skill, so instead of making an entirely new skill that is just a hodge podge of existing content, let's just add the idea if we think it's a good one, to the game as an expansion.
Out of all three skills offered, taming is the skill that is the most unique and wouldn't fit into any of the existing skills, and for that fact alone, I think it is the only one that even makes sense to suggest as a skill. Of course, taming has a lot of problems and I certainly do not want it to be added to the game, but I am using it as an example of something that couldn't just be added to a preexisting skill.
2) How will the proposed idea effect existing content?
There are many examples of content being added and having a negative impact on the game. OSRS is an ecosystem, and it is not difficult for one bad update to have far reaching and long lasting consequences. This doesn't mean we should avoid updating the game for fear of this, but it does mean we should be cautious about what we do introduce into the game.
Any skill that seeks to buff combat/gear is something that I think we should be especially weary of, as changes that impact combat/gear often effect every other aspect of the game as well. This question directly applies to both Taming and Shamanism because of they will impact every single piece of content in the game. Let us look at Shamanism first. I do not have an issue with power creep, and I do think that it is a necessary part of the game. Gnomonkey has a great
video on this topic if you are interested in it. That being said, the level of power creep that Shamanism will introduce to the game is power creep that occurs when a new BIS weapon or armor is added to the game.
When we have a new BIS item added to the game, said item is usually locked behind high level content that requires high level stats and powerful gear to efficiently grind. A player who is only at a 100 CB will not have access to a Twisted Bow if they are playing the game normally. What does this is preserve the difficulty and quality of content across the game. Let us look at Barrows as an example. The reason Barrows are a fun and interesting boss to do is because most people that first try it will be around the combat and gear level where they are actually still interesting to do. If every person had access to BIS gear, Barrows would be piss easy and not fun or interesting at all. But when someone is at a combat level of ninety, with Rune armor, Black D Hide, an Iban's Staff, and a MSB, Barrows is actually fun and engaging content. I really enjoyed grinding Barrows for hundreds of KC, accumulating money and gear, so that I could prepare to complete more difficult content down the line.
By adding Shamanism, we are increasing the power that someone at level ninety combat might have. If Shamanism gives a ten percent boost to your damage, that means a newer player is doing Barrows ten percent faster, it means that Barrows is ten percent easier. This effects all players at all tiers of content, and it runs the risk of content becoming trivialized at a faster rate than just adding BIS weapons into the game over time. Let us not forget that we are also going to be getting a new prayer book soon, and I know the average Redditor doesn't actually do high level PVM, but it cannot be understated the potential that the new prayers have when it comes to increasing DPS. Not only that, but by upgrading armor and weapons, this restricts the types of upgrades we can get in the future.
While Shamanism would lead to direct upgrades to weapons and armor, Taming would have the same effect on combat/gear. A pet that increases your DPS by ten percent is essentially the same as upgrading your weapon/armor through Shamanism by ten percent. Taming also has its own fair share of problems outside of just the powercreep aspect. I dislike the Pokemon feel that Taming would most likely add to the game, with every player having some sort of animal following behind them. It does not fit within the spirit and feel of OSRS, and with how poor current pet pathfinding is, I am not optimistic about how the pathfinding of the things we tame will be either. In addition to this, it would take away from the specialness of the current pets that we already have in the game.
And finally, I can see both Taming and Shamanism acting as annoying prerequisites that need to be done before bossing or raiding. Imagine having to go and gather some leaves and spirit goo just so you can make the value of your armor or weapon go up so you can do a raid/boss semi efficiently? And before people try to make the argument "no one is forcing you to play efficiently", I will note that new content added after Shamanism will need to have increased difficulty to make up for the power creep that Shamanism/Taming will introduce. Outside of having the best gear, it might be possible that players will be forced to do these skills just so that they can viably farm the boss at all, much less to do it "efficiently".
There are many other ways that both Shamanism and Taming will impact the game due to how they will effect our combat system directly, and I've already rambled enough. While I wouldn't necessarily be against a skill in the future that enhances our combat capabilities, I want to see the new prayers come out first and spend some time in the game so we can get a feeling of how they will impact PVM, and I also want to wait for new, interesting gear and content to come out, before we commit to shifting the power scale of all content upwards, with the introduction of a new skill that effects combat
For the reasons I mentioned above, as well as some others that I did not go into due to the length of this post as well as my lack of comprehensive knowledge to present a full argument for, I don't think any of the presented three skills should be chosen as a new skill. I think Sailing has a ton of great ideas, and I would vote for a Sailing expansion to be added to the game. I like some of the ideas presented in Shamanism, but I feel like they should be treated as an expansion to Herblore and Hunter, and I would be interested in hearing some more in depth ideas regarding the suggestion, and I don't think taming fits within the feel of OSRS and clashes with our currently existing pet system. Thus, none of the skills really fit within what I feel we should expect from a new skill, and while the development team has done a great job presenting them, I do feel like they can come up with better ideas.
TL;DR: Sailing and Shamanism could be introduced to the game as updates to preexisting skills, Taming is bootleg summoning, and the power creep that Taming and Shamanism will introduce to the game are not good.

2023.03.28 02:40 lukwes1 The problem I see with a Shamanism and Taming
Both of them will in some way enhance existing skills, shamanism you can enchance your items with oils, or with taming you have a pet that will boost your woodcutting.
What is the problem with this? Sounds fine right
Let's check RS3 that has had similar stuff added. Let's say I want to level mining. First osrs: You get your pickaxe, you get your mining gear if you have it (very much optional to get, but if you have it good), and then you get whatever items your activity needs and you do it. Very simple, or a bit more complex if you do something like volcanic mine.
For rs3. Your pickaxe. And then useful items the wiki recommends:
augment you pickaxe? ore box, varrock armour, Golden mining suit/golem armor, Tagga's corehammer, Signs of the porter, Mining cape, Starfury outfits, Brooch of the Gods, Summoning familiars, Waterfiend (familiar), Urns, Urn enhancer, Mining accumulators, Rock-crushing scrimshaw, Juju potions, Powerburst of opportunity, Torstol incense sticks, Auras, Skillchompas, Crystallise and Light Form, Stone spirits, Luck Enhancers, Strength Enhancing Potions, Dragon battleaxe, Relic power, Asciatops Perk, Scimitops Perk, Pontifex Ring, Ring of Whispers.
Sure do you need all of these no, and you have presets so it is easy to fix. But why, is the game more fun because you have to get juju potions before you start leveling mining? No.
Having to go the G.E and buy some stuff or make some stuff with shamanism or get your familiar out before going woodcutting. Won't make the game more fun, it is just a thing you have on your checklist. And I don't think the game should go in this direction. If you have a familiar that boosts your woodcutting by 5%, you will always want to have it with you, and it is just another thing you need. It adds complexity just to make another skill rewarding.

2023.03.28 01:45 Formal-Mud-990 Everything HxH and it's real life equivalent
Edit' I'll try to organize it better
Here are several things in Hunter x Hunter that resemble real life things with similar characteristics. Here is a example:
The Phantom Troupe: Neapolitan camorra A groups Who clashes with various mafia groups, are reminiscent of real-life gang wars and turf battles. One example is the Mafia- Camorra War, which occurred in New York City in the early 20th century. The war was between the Italian Mafia ,which more or less died off from this, and the Neapolitan Camorra, The Neapolitan Camorra is a powerful criminal organization based in Naples, Italy, and is considered one of the oldest and largest mafia groups in Italy, along with the Sicilian Mafia. The Camorra originated in the 19th century, and it is estimated that the organization has around 7,000 members, divided into various clans, each with its own hierarchy and territory.
Like the Phantom Troupe in Hunter x Hunter, the Camorra is involved in a wide range of criminal activities, including drug trafficking, extortion, money laundering, and arms trafficking. The organization also has a strong presence in the construction industry, and it is known for its involvement in illegal waste disposal and toxic dumping.
The Camorra is known for its violent tactics, and its members are notorious for their willingness to kill anyone who gets in their way, including police officers and rival gang members. The organization is also known for its use of torture and intimidation to maintain control over its territory and business interests.
Similar to the Phantom Troupe's hierarchy, the Camorra also has a well-defined internal structure, with a boss, underboss, and various lieutenants and soldiers. The organization also has its own codes and rituals, and members are required to take oaths of loyalty and secrecy.
Despite efforts by law enforcement to dismantle the organization, the Camorra remains a powerful force in Naples and continues to operate to this day, with many of its members still involved in a wide range of criminal activities.
1 Whale Island: The island where Gon grew up is said to be located off the coast of the Republic of Palau in the Pacific Ocean. The island is said to be inspired by real-life Palau, which is known for its beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and diverse marine life. It is known for its pristine natural beauty, which includes crystal-clear waters, lush tropical forests, and abundant marine life. I'm sure there is more I missed of you know of any please don't hesitate to comment just a name is enough for me to go off of thanks in advance for any an all efforts to forward that endeavor of mine.
So I won't lie that some of this is based on real lifes mystical chi, chakra, ki, spirit , faith ,there's many more and wiki is a great source on the subject in regards to when an where specifics. So some of this is based off of my real life experience perceptions of the world Some is speculation I'll try me best to note the difference for easier understanding purposes
Now it is said in most ancient cultures with bad ass warriors being a main staple of said cultures development and legacies Top warriors have a certain code
This is not in dispute
If anything whats disputed is what the code is What is important to remember is tho they may have differed slightly in the end point is all top end martial masters seem to have one regardless.
Some ancient military records flat out describe some warriors doing and not just once but every time having unexplained ways of winning against numerous enemies at once over and over and over battle after battle after battle Point of fact most live to become old in seclusion often wrighting books Like the art of war, there's more but if you can't find the ones who lived it apart from those who didn't you stop reading now an save your time .
Now there is just about as many legends and storys of places too good for it not to be NeN if in fact they did exist and did also do what is said Sometimes a big task researching enough to say for sure May be we.destroy more then we preserve as a species on average I do know I think there is some real top the list contenders for real life equivalent being real and I'll list them as examples but I want first to do one as a whole reason why I think "all the secrecy" today's times next first .....
So In layman's terms..... Sounds like a good public cover story for why everyone being like yo Netro why those bullets bounce off you bro wtf...... Now this is mostly speculation but at the heart of speculation is the experience of perceptions by who ever is doing the speculation that's why I did the layman's terms for this section first not last In the middle of Africa is the congo. I bring this up because In Africa there is ppl called hunters There word is dozo or dono Googling the three journalist deaths in africa causing uproar and demanding investigation for answers Should be effective Note the ppl who were hired as guides They literally are quoted as saying there magic will protect them from bullets harming them And they are a "association of ppl for hire" Again that's a direct quote from the locals who referred them as the ones.to get as guides inland without dieing all on top of they are called a hunter association by the locals they are also protected by bullets with magic ...
In layman's terms that's my first with enough effort can be verified in real life existence as we speak

2023.03.28 01:35 OSRS_Indica Actual unpopular opinion: shamanism is the worst of the three proposed skills
As proposed, shamanism is basically herblore secondary/summoning charm gathering combined with ridiculous buff systems akin to the RS3 woodcutting pasta.
“There's no way that golden bamboo becomes 1m wc xp/hr. My rate at WC (WITH current event 20% bonus, bis perks/crystal hatchet/sanas/ skill set, beaver, juju, ring, pulses, wood accumulators, urns + enhancers, access to all leg wisdom, Panth and prem bonuses, running to get w84 sceptecoin hit, Torstol incense, i average out at a little over 260k/hr with dwarves (and I have a lot of them), which is kind of skewed as my private island has 3 spawns. No BXP.”
This is your future with shamanism. Tread lightly.

2023.03.28 00:57 Sterlander The Sailing proposal tweet has 100 more likes than Shamanism, and 200 more than Taming
Of course, Twitter likes aren't ingame poll votes, but it just goes to show that people on this Reddit are very vocal with their "Sailing is just a minigame!!1!!!!!11" shouting and going rabid at anything remotely interesting or powerful sounding ("oooooo enhance equipment with shamanism? me like, me like, i vote yes on poll!") Despite the Subreddit's overwhelming support of Shamanism, other social medias feedback on the new skills differ greatly.
Just because you see the entire subreddit overwhelmingly jerk off Shamanism doesn't mean you have to lose hope and not vote for one of the other skills you want. This subreddit fucking despises sailing and loves anything that smells even slightly powercreep-y or cool sounding. Vote for what you want. I honestly think all 3 of these have a shot, don't let the Reddit Shamanism hivemind get to you, it doesn't represent the whole playerbase at all
EDIT: To add on, please for the love of god watch the videos the Jmods made on each of the new skilling proposals. If you think Sailing is a minigame then you didn't watch the proposal. If you haven't seen any of the videos and are talking about the new skills then you don't know what you're talking about. Just, watch them, it'll take you like 10 minutes.

2023.03.28 00:32 LloydBro Am I the only person who thinks all 3 suggestions are shit?
Sailing just gatekeeps new content behind an otherwise pointless skill
Summon ... I mean taming is literally summoning and is almost univesally hated
Shamanism seems to be a pointless introduction of power creep. We already have prayer and potions to enhance comabt, now we're going to add shamanism and bonfires from the forestry rework?
Ive been playing runescape since around 2003 on and off. RS 3 destroyed what runescape was and the introduction of old school revived the game. So far the changes made in oldschool have mostly been positive, but this is just garbage and if the game continues in this direction it will end up being RS3 all over again.
Just keep pumping out great content, raids, bosses and quests. But please for the love of god leave the fundamentals alone

2023.03.28 00:03 Zaaltyr RS3 mains opinion of new skill suggestions.
I am a RS3 'main' currently playing OS. Just wanted to drop my 2 Cents. I've been playing RS for every skill release since Hunter, some skills I've liked, some I haven't. If you have any questions about RS3 skills feel free to ask.
DISCLAIMER IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRASH TALK RS3 WITHOUT PLAYING IT IM GOING TO DISREGARD ANYTHING YOU SAY AS YOURE NOT LOOKING FOR THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSION AND ARE JUST TRYING TO PLAY 'I GOT YOU' STOP HATING GAMES WITHOUT PLAYING THEM DISCLAIMER
(I did post this in a comment on one thread, I however updated it for this post)
SAILING: has no direct interaction with the current game world, yes the area BETWEEN the land will be used, but it will have zero use and effect on all of the current game world, will be VERY disconnected like dungeoneering was. I do like the idea of an expanded world, but 'filling in the gaps' seems lazy as it wont feel like anything is added to the current game world other then ports to dock at.
TAMING: seems like the better version of Summoning, however seems to close to Hunter. Strong concept just too similar to what we know/have. I don't think this augments the current gameplay enough to make it feel worthwhile, it will just become another box on your checklists.
SHAMANISM: yes it shares similarities to RS3s Invention, but it's actually even closer to Archeology. Invention was mainly used as a way to fix the economy taking existing items out and not really adding too much new. People are only comparing the 2 because of gear augments. I feel like the magic/mystical/shamanistic use of gear enchants/augments fits OS better rather than the physical/mechanical augments of RS3. And to people complaining about power creep, I highly doubt enchant/augments are just gonna be flat stat bonus'.
I personally think Shamanism has the greatest potential, it uses the current game world, provides new areas and resources within the game world, and gives upgrades/side grades/augments to most of not all current gear.
And to everyone comparing Shamanism to Invention, don't compare it to Archeology (hands down the best skill added to RS3)
The main thing to keep in mind with a new skill is not how it will add to current gameplay, but how will it effect/enhance progressional gameplay. What skill is going to seamlessly fit into the leveling experience, how it effects new players, how accessable is it at all levels.
Okay I'll shut up now, thoughts?

2023.03.27 22:53 0neDuck I am voting for Sailing, because
I don't want a skill that interferes to much with all the other skills in the game. The training methods of other skills has already been enhanced a lot over the years, and I like the state they are currently in. And in the case where Shamanism and Taming does not affect the other skills in a major way, what is even the point of the skill?
I think Sailing is the best fit for the theme of OSRS, because I would not like it to go in the exact same direction as RS3 with summoning (taming) and invention (shamanism). With that said, I think the pitch for sailing could have been a lot better. I think it has far greater potential than just the exploration aspect, and we would finally have a reason to fill out the whole map. I really liked Boaty's thought's on sailing that he mentions here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=368pbSv6BQE&t=998s&ab_channel=MyNameIsB0aty This is just my opinion on the matter.

2023.03.27 22:48 Intelligent_Ear_9726 New Skills - Honest Opinion
As we all have been discussing new skills with friends, redditors, twitch streams or clan mates, what are your honest reactions to the skills?
While I appreciate the dev team efforts to providing us new content, I personally am not a fan of any of the provided options.
The only one that some what seems interesting is Shamanism to me, however, it already seems like a nightmare to gather materials and level it. But at the same time it reminds me of another knock off of RS3 skills that provide auras or other random enhancements that could be interesting for some, or a pain in the ass to manage with pots, food, prayer, and any other item/skill enhancement.
Sailing has been a meme for years, and I don’t think it fits at all in the game, and seems like a poor effort to provide something “new” that completely misses the mark. Sea of thieves mixed with OSRS hot air balloons is all I can imagine. Good thought, but I’d rather a different sea-esque skill.
Taming just seems like a cheap summoning knock off to fit a specific niche of players who want a little companion. Pet battles remind me of shitty WoW dailies that over half the player base ignores.
I know I’ll catch some shade for this post but genuinely interested to hear why you do or do not like these new skills.

2023.03.27 22:00 AH_Josh Nuclear take incoming; None of the 3 proposed skills feel anything like "old school"
I hope none of them pass. They all just seem like low-poly versions of RS3 skills. I really hope, before this gets voted on more heavily, that they flesh it out and change the feel of Taming and Shamanism. Sailing is just...unsalvageable.
Taming is just summoning-lite it seems, and I know, the influx of posts saying "It's not summoning!" put me off the most. It's not summoning because the summoned familiars won't have any effect on the game world at all. So what's the point of the skill? It seems like a way to just get cosmetics and that's it...Taming is the best one because it's the most original.
Shamanism on the otherhand seems overtuned as fuck. Basically Herblore 2.0. And most people already hate the need for some potions to begin with, so making "weapon enhancements" seems extremely silly. Even more silly if they are permanent, forever changing PvP unless they give off distinct giveaways that the weapon has permanently changed granting a buff. If it's a limited time buff then...yeah Herblore 2.0 and ramps up difficulty of the game by just giving us more things to micromanage.
Sailing, has too much baggage on it as being a meme. But honestly the way it was presented....sucks. And if it's instanced then RIP servers. It just feels like a floating POH. Correct me if I am wrong, but high wealth areas have never been locked behind just a skill. It's usually a quest, which yes, could have skill requirements but questing seems unpopular and makes people play them for access to these areas.
Honestly. I think if they re-worked summoning for modern OSRS it would work better. A lot of people seem to forget that the original OSRS build is only 4 months younger than summoning. Re-work charm collection and reduce the effectivity of summons, give us a "de-summon familiar" option in the spell book to make PvP normal again. The big thing is BoBs. But at the end of the day we as a playerbase just circumvented with the ability to just log in as alts now, and kill the bosses with our main while our alt does a bank run. This meta is hella sweaty and super boring. Not to mention literally costing us more in real life to run 2 accounts with membership. Summoning with weaker-than-2007 summons would make this meta still viable for those not willing to grind summoning, but a nice alternative.
Also don't raise the combat level with summoning increases. 128 for life.

2023.03.27 18:34 Koala_Guru This discrimination against tauren shamans will not stand!
Just making this post in the hopes that someone at Blizzard sees it. I love that the tauren have a totem weapon now, but I can't use it as an enhancement shaman. When I use the transmog preview on my character it shows him holding the totem in one hand in another weapon in the other hand, so if we could get that, it would be great. Or maybe it could be a special transmog that lets you use it as a two-handed weapon cosmetically even though you still technically have two weapons? I don't know. Just want to get the word out there.

2023.03.27 16:22 chadawan2 Onslaught DFT loot system - How do you handle character Re-rolling?
Looking for feedback, is this corruption? or am I being overly sensitive and a loot goblin?!
So I raid in a Dad guild over on Golemag, it's pretty casual, good fun and as of last couple of week we have Ulduar on farm in a single evening.
We use the Onslaught DFT loot system, which essentially means that players can prioritise which items they specifically want by adding a score to each item in brackets, and it has been great throughout wotlk with zero loot drama. Before each content phase, all submissions are private - you cannot game the system by looking at other people's lists, and plan yours around theirs. The only person who can see the submissions is the GM who's MT and seemingly trustworthy. Once all submissions are in, those that have submitted get access to a google doc that shows the prio for each item. Those with equal prio for an item just roll for it, the other then gets it next and so on.
So here is where I am frustrated. One of the guild officers has decided to re-roll from enhancement shaman to warlock, after gearing the shaman to ~5k GS.
Now on the surface, there is nothing wrong with re-rolling, it's a game and you should have fun. My problem is that they had access to everyone's loot prio, planned theirs around it, and got to submit a fresh loot sheet in full. Do you think this is fair? Many of the raid team are now lower prio for items they have raided two months for.
My take on this is that if they should be able to submit a new toon sheet, however black out the slots whereby they had picked up an item in that slot on their previous character.
Am I over analysing this?

2023.03.27 15:46 Auraven [Suggestion] New equipment slot for Shamanism skill
With new shamanic items, I'd like to see an equipment slot for producible spiritual or sacred objects that apply passive, triggerable effects when charged with shamanistic power.
Like new on death effects for when the player dies or kills another player or monster.
Examples being:
Player combat stats get boosted with a divine effect on respawn after death.
Every X kills of the same monster grants %accuracy/damage for the next kill against the same monster.
If shamanistic enhancements are temporary there can be items which affect how long they last. For example, say the enhancements lasted for X hours in combat or until player death. There can be an item that extends the hours in combat that the enhancement lasts or preserves the enhancement on death.
