What maintenance should I do for new used Camaro

2023.06.02 17:18 Analysis_Separate What maintenance should I do for new used Camaro

Getting a V6 2016 Camaro LT RS this week with 92K miles,
What service should I have done or do myself when I first get it? Should I just take it into a Chevy dealership for maintenance and let them decided if it needs anything else,
Car has no problems I’m aware of besides the side detection sensors “need service” (they don’t work) but I can have that checked on anytime I’m more concerned about making sure the engine and transmission are healthy and stay that way while I have the car since this is the first nice and expensive car I’m buying and I’m overly worried about it breaking down even though it appears to be in good condition
Any issues I should look out for in future with car or ways to avoid them?
Also saw people say the v6 out of all the engines is the most reliable, Is it semi easy to work on for small or medium repairs?

2023.06.02 17:11 BigDaddy4247 Battery or Alternator

So i have been having this issue with my car that i cannot seem to figure out the culprit of battery or alternator or something else entirely. So every so often, like few weeks my car will need a jump and does not take long to jump one the jumper cables are put on. I'm not seeing any signs of a bad battery or alternator, and what it does is just won't crank. I took it to have it diagnosed with a reader and nothing came out bad according to the person who did the check.
Its a 2013 Chevy Impala for reference and im just trying to get some sort of idea of what its is before i spend money on a part that might not be the cause of the issues What is everyone thoughts on this on what it might be?

Ok so I'm in need of some help before I do something stupid like actually blow up a truck. Not really. We have 2007 chevy silverpeaceofshito, here is the back story, we bought this truck ran fine after about a few months 1 gear went out, now here's where all the part buying comes in, so I went to change the 1/2 solenoid so while in there changed all of them, put it back together went through all the gears drove to my dad's ran beautiful, well we went to leave when I put it in reverse I heard a pop did quit know where it came from but sounded like front right, that's when service 4wd light came on so, then it was driving slow wouldn't shift gears stuck in 3rd, took it to earl bros in fremont, they said the fuel pump driver module was not sending anything to the transmission so here is a list of parts I have changed, also here are the only codes that are popping up p0700/ p2534 1. All modules in tranny (4 total) 2. 4wd actuator 3. 4wd motor and selector switch sensor 4. Selector switch in dash 5. Fuel pump driver module. 6. Transmission control module 7. Ign switch in column. Because of code p2534

2023.06.02 16:19 ch1ck3n_t03s A Guest Services story (Also my first time working drive up)

When I was working drive up a couple days ago, I had a customer ping us at 9:45. I was on closing duty and was the only one at guest services. I went to find his order, which was a mini-fridge, and brought it out to what I presumed was a Chevy truck(it was in fact not a truck, but rather a small car). The guy smelled of weed, his girlfriend and himself were sharing a whole pizza(respect), and we’re almost surprised by how big the box was. We tried getting it in the back of his car, the trunk and any other spot we could before he just said “put it on the roof, I got it from there.” I watched his guy from the inside security camera drive off with this fridge untethered to his car with his hazards on. Definitely and odd first closing shift on guest services.

2023.06.02 15:53 SexyWelder Wondering what this trim is called

I have a 2007 Chevy Impala LT, and over the summer I want to black out all of the chrome on it. When it comes to the trim around the windows I’m not finding a whole lot online besides the pillar trim. There are plenty of options to replace the pillar trim. But I can’t seem to find any after market options for the rest of the trim. I would prefer to paint everything anyway so there aren’t a bunch of mismatched shades, but it would be nice to know how they’re secured to the car before trying to take them off.
Any help would be appreciated! Or if there is a better subreddit to ask please let me know

2023.06.02 14:42 Aket827 Shift to park repair experience in ATL

2017 Volt Premier with 74500 miles started experiencing the issue. Took it to Steve Raymon Chevy dealership and showed them the service bulletin. They had the car for 3 hours then came back and told me it’d be $600+ to fix it as the gear shifter needed replacement, so I left. Then called Jim Ellis Chevy and requested an appointment with their EV tech (Eric). Dropped car off and mentioned the service bulletin and that repair should be covered under warranty. Picked it up next day, all fixed, no charge. Just wanted to share my experience for any other Volt owners in the Atlanta area.

JUN 02, 2023 AIR.V CLEAN AIR METALS ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES

THUNDER BAY, ON , June 2, 2023 /CNW/ - Clean Air Metals Inc. (" Clean Air Metals " or the " Company ") (TSXV: AIR) (OTCQB: CLRMF) (FRA: CKU) announces that Mr. Abraham Drost will no longer be continuing as CEO and Director of the Company effective immediately.
Mr. Jim Gallagher , who has served as Executive Chair since Clean Air Metals began to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange in early 2020 will assume the role of CEO on an interim basis while retaining the Executive Chair role. A search for a permanent CEO will commence in due course.
Mr. Gallagher is a mining engineer and experienced executive who most recently was CEO of North American Palladium with its single asset being the Lac des Iles Palladium mine located approximately 90 km north of Clean Air Metals' Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals Project. Mr. Gallagher assumed the CEO role in 2015 as the company emerged from a CCAA process and over the next 5 years led an operational and financial turn-around of the company culminating in the sale to Impala Platinum of South Africa at the end of 2019 for just under C$ 1 Billion
Updated Resource Estimate
On May 4 th , 2023 the Company press released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Company's 100% owned Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals project. The Indicated resource of 14 million tonnes contains 1.2 million ounces of Platinum and Palladium (on a one-to-one ratio), 57,000 tonnes of Copper and 34,300 tonnes of Nickel. All 4 of these potentially payable metals are defined as Critical Metals by both the Provincial and Federal Governments. The Company is near completion with DRA Americas on validating metallurgical recoveries and potential smelter offtake terms. Technical evaluation of mining options, production rates and site infrastructure will be ongoing over the next several months and we will continue to advance environmental studies towards future permit applications.
Exploration
The almost 25,000 meters of infill drilling in 2022 on both the Escape and Current deposits that make up the Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals project have provided a well-defined resource model above approximately 500 metres in depth which is the basis for the mineral resource estimate. Both deposits are open at depth and have minimal drilling below 500 meters. An exploration plan is in development for the down plunge extension of both deposits.
Jim Gallagher , CEO and Executive Chair commented: "I would like to thank Abraham for his efforts while leading the Company and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. The new mineral resource estimate and new leadership bring the Company to its next stage of development. Technical studies of a selective, higher grade, underground mining plan are commencing for these two near surface deposits. The next phase of exploration will investigate down plunge targets. Once the exploration plan is finalized and permits and sufficient funding are secured, we will look to execute the program in 2024 and beyond.
The Company is well funded with just under $10 million in cash available to meet its commitments well into 2024. Given the difficult markets and our low share price we do not anticipate raising any additional funds at least until 2024, avoiding unnecessary dilution of the stock. We intend to prudently manage our cash until market conditions improve.
Lastly but most importantly I would like to re-affirm the Company's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability. Clean Air Metals Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Panoramic PGMs ( Canada ) Ltd. acknowledge that the Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals Project is on the traditional territories of the Fort William First Nation, Red Rock Indian Band and Biinjitiwabik Zaaging Anishinabek. The parties together are the Cooperating Participants in a Memorandum of Agreement dated January 9, 2021 (press release January 11, 2021 ) and Exploration Agreement signed April 13, 2022 (press release April 14, 2022 )."
The Company appreciates the opportunity to work in these territories and remains committed to the recognition and respect of those who have lived, traveled, and gathered on the lands since time immemorial. Clean Air Metals is committed to stewarding Indigenous heritage and remains committed to building, fostering and encouraging a respectful relationship with First Nations and Métis peoples based upon principles of mutual trust, respect, reciprocity and collaboration in the spirit of reconciliation.
Qualified Persons
Mr. Mike Garbutt P.Eng , a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 and Chief Operating Officer for the Company has reviewed and approved all technical information in this press release.
About Clean Air Metals Inc.
Clean Air Metals' flagship asset is the 100% owned, high grade Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals Project, a platinum, palladium, copper, nickel project located near the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario and the Lac des Iles Mine owned by Impala Platinum. The Thunder Bay North Project hosts the twin magma conduit bodies which host the Current and Escape deposits forming the basis for the mineral resource estimate reported herein.
Interim CEO and Executive Chair Jim Gallagher, P.Eng. and COO Mike Garbutt, P.Eng. lead an experienced technical team studying the economics of a sustainable mining operation at Thunder Bay North.
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Hi,I live in CA and found a car in CA I would like to bid on GovDeals (ex police 2012 V8 Chevy Caprice). The sale is restricted to licensed auto dealers which I'm not. I can't find a broker online that bids on GovDeals for a fee (similar to the Copart / IAAI ones).Does anyone knows of a similar broker service?A side question: GovDeals doesn't prevent me from placing a bid on a dealer restricted auction, what happens if I win? 2023.06.02 03:59 Zauberin3477 Can anyone help me with my screwy 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ, this is a doozy.

I have been told that this is place to ask about car problems. I have yet to find a mechanic that has been able to figure out what is wrong with it, and my google searches have come up with nada. I really appreaciate you taking the time to read and help me out.
I own a 2014 Ceverolet Impala LTZ : https://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/impala/2014/review/
It was great until it didn't like to turn on normaly. It has been happening for more than 2 years at this point and nobody knows what is broken. It is an electrical issue. This is a list of the issue that I have cataloged: not turning on at all (usually unhooking the battery will reset something so the car can start), not turning on correctly: no radio, bluetooth not working, screen theme resets to the factory, AC not coming on, but it definatly DOES work, the temp is not displayed on the screen, center consol screen not coming on, cooling seats not working. The car also shuts down wrong sometimes having wierd lights pop up, or shuts off too fast without having the radio play music until I leave the car. I am certain that it is Not the battery(has been replaced), alternator(it would have given out by now), and starter. For the most part, if I unhook the battery for 10-30 minutes everything is fine, until after a few trips it will start acting wierd again. As far as I can tell, there is absolutly nothing wrong with my engine. This wierd problem never sets off a check engine light, and even when I have had the codes read, there is nothing explaining this issue.
I feel like these things make this issue more common: rainy weather, hot summer time weather, and trips that are less than 15 mins or 5 miles of driving.
I did at one point read something that sounded a lot like my issue, however, it had something to do with the physical ignition that a Keyed car would use. My car is a push button start.
Please and thank you for any help you can offer me. I have no idea at this point, and I realze that I would drive my car into the ground if I could reliably turn on and off without worring about if this problem is going to make make me late . Dude, my boss even sat with me one night after work, because he caught me taking my battery off. So embarassing.
I'll post an update if someone figures this one out.

2018 Chevy Malibu LT Stabilitrak system
Stabilitrak is causing reduced engine power. I thought it was my battery according to a Autozone read. I changed the front battery and same issue. It is hesitant as I drive still. Please help I have to get to work and my kid to school. I just bought a brand new front battery today.
What’s happening?

Clunking noise coming from front end
So I'm driving a 2011 chevy impala and I hear a clunking noise from time to time, especially when I first go to drive first thing my impala does is make a loud popping sound from the front passenger same side the weird picture is on. I have new lower control arms, swaybar end links, and motor mount. And is this a safety risk? I drive about 100miles a day. I do my own work on my cars, I actually just got done replacing the transmission in my driveway, I just want to narrow it down

What all would you check or replace before driving an Impala with 200k miles 2k miles? The oil gasket leaks, but I don’t want to drain the transmission which is required to repaire the gasket
I am thinking check wires belts and hoses, tread depth, alignment after new tie rods and control arms. I think the breaks are newish.
Anything else, your guidance is appreciated.
