So, with this episode's montage we can actually construct nearly all of the table in the Ted Lasso version of the current premier league season. I'll start with teams that are shared between real life and the show
  1. Manchester City
  2. Southampton
  3. Manchester United
  4. Crystal Palace
  5. Tottenham (who I was pleased to note were in last place)
  6. Brighton and Hove Albion
  7. Brentford (we know they were one of the other promoted teams)
  8. Wolverhampton
  9. Newcastle
  10. Chelsea

  14. Leicester (didn't appear on the table, but Rebecca congratulated Rupert on beating them in ep2)

this leaves us with the following teams still unaccounted for:

  1. Liverpool (there's no way they'd be left out)
which leaves us the question of our 20th team. I think it's most likely to be Everton, as they're the most notable team of the remainder. It would also make sense as the final three were promoted from the championship this year, and may have been casualties as a result.

i lost around 37 pounds in a short span of time (4-5 months or so) and went from BMI 25 to BMI 17.9. these days i've been experiencing really painful chest pains, low heart rate (according to apple watch), and fainted several times. i tried upping my intake to>! 800-1000 kcals!<, but i'm still experiencing these symptoms. its so painful and i feel like i might die... should i try eating at maintenance in order to lessen these symptoms and for harm reduction??

I kinda fucking hate being born in the same year as YouTube. And in some boring as fuck European country as well
I've always found myself relating wya more to American culture, ever since I was a little kid. I've always kinda hated my native culture. It's just very boring and repressive and my tastes differ greatly from everyone else's seemingly (prefer American food to native food, as an example)
I also fucking hate being a zoomer. Instead of spending my childhood going outside or watching all the good classic movies and playing video games on the N64 and Gameboy and shit, I spent my childhood inside playing shitty iPad games and watching shitty YouTube videos
I hate that I never got to experience growing up in pre 9/11 era United States, and that I never will. It just makes me want to lay down and rot for the rest of my life
This shit affects me to the point to where I just don't want to do anything in my life. I even have to go to therapy for this, which I've been doing for a few years now at this point. The therapy is not working. I still feel like shit. I haven't even graduated school or got a job, because this shit is always on my mind and nakes me depressed all the time
Sure, I could move to the United States, but I see no point in doing this because I never got to exoerience my childhood there nor was I born in an earlier era where the internet was better and cuktire overall was less shitty and people actually socialized with each other
I never got to experience Myspace, nor the early days of YouTube or Twitter or Reddit. Never got to grow up in 90"s America, and never will, and it will alwYs make me feel like shit
I try to find things I like about my country and things I like about being a zoomer, but I just can't. I can't even name one thing I like that isn't the bare minimum shit like "at least I'm not starving or in a warzone". I even sometimes force myself to enjoy zoomer shit like Fortnite and TilTok, but everytime I try I just hate it more and more
It really fucks me up as well because there's nothing I can do to change this. Which means I should stop worrying about it. But I can't. Even with years of kntensive theory, it's still rent-free in my mind 24/7
Only reason I keep living is because I hope eventually they invent some kind of technology which will allow me to start life again from scratch but I get to choose which country and which year I'm born in. Until then, life is going to kinda suck for me

I take half a pill (IR) in the morning at 7 and half the pill at 11. Put when I fall.aaleeping around 9-10 pm, I wake up in the middle of the night panicking/anxious. Tossing turning, actually sitting up and looking around. It's not a nice feeling. Please let me know if anyone else experienced this and did this game away?
I've recently been diagnosed and this is my first medication for adhd.

Point blank period! You should know your Temps and know your feels and learn to master meat temperatures through a combination of both. I have seen so many people completely fail on grill because a shitty chefs opinion about using a thermometer. Its not 1988, we have thermometers that don't take 3-6 seconds for a accurate temp. We actually have thermometers that take 1 second now days. Diffrent cuts of meat can feel diffrent so basing everything of of touch is not as consistent. I have succeeded in one of the best and highly awarded resturants in the city. Cooking 16oz rib eyes and racks of lamb, 9 oz fillets, 12 oz pork chops, porter house's and everything in between.

So it's week 9, and I finally received a message from an adjudicator. They asked me to answer some very basic questions. Do you know why you were fired? Did you violate a policy? etc. Honestly, I'm not sure how to approach these. Are these standard questions for everyone, or are they specific to my case? As in, I know they already have the company's story, but now they want me to answer questions they already believe they have the answer to. Any suggestions would help!

2023.03.29 08:50 LaserAlpaca After I started boxing, the weight-gaining process almost stop for 6 months.

I am 5'9, 165 lbs, and my body weight already stops raining for around 6 months. I keep working out for 2 years. Before I started working out I was below 140, so now the process is OK for me. But I want more, My plan is to be 175 lbs. I do have the experience of eating to gain. Before I could easily get 2500 calories but this number is far too different from what I need now, which is almost at least 3500.
I started boxing like 6 months ago, and for the whole 6 months, my weight-gaining process is almost fully stopped. Although my strength did still grow at a slow speed. Now I try to eat a whole loaf of bread and buy some fried chicken every day since they have tons of calories. But even this cannot give me enough calories after I start boxing. I think now I need probably 3500 calories every day since I do boxing almost Monday to Friday.
So I am that kind of small stomach person, I cannot eat a lot at once. Also, I am kind of busy and really don't have enough time to cook myself. My schedule is super busy, which affects my process as well. I sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day, then 1 hour in the gym, 2 hours in boxing, really don't have time to cook or even don't have too much free time eating.
The only way I think might work for my small stomach is eating sweat sugars to reach that goal, but it seems very unhealthy. If I have enough free time I can try to eat snacks the whole day, but I don't. How should I eat in my situation? I don't want to give up boxing, also don't want to spend too much money. The only thing I don't care about is probably tasty of the food.

2023.03.29 08:50 Mr-Reanimator I'm looking at trading my current vehicle for another used vehicle, and I wanted to ask what some other people thought on the current two cars I'm looking at, as well as their price.

I drive a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, and it's got just over 31,500 miles on it. Outside of some minor cosmetic things that would require a basic wipe down and vacuum in the interior, and washing a thin layer of mud off of it, the vehicle is in perfectly good shape.
Now, that said, there are two vehicles I'm currently looking at, as I'm trying to basically do a 1 to 1 trade.
The first vehicle is priced at $12,995, and is a 2017 VW Passat SE 6A. It's got an all leather interior, heated seats, pushbutton start, sunroof, (new) Cooper all season tires, brand new windshield, new brakes, and as far as I can tell, the vehicle has been kept in near pristine condition outside of those replacements. The vehicle also seems to have a clean record, with no accidents, no theft/illegal activity reported, and only one previous owner. The only catch is that it's currently sitting at around 145,000 miles driven.
The dealer has literally been trying to sell this specific vehicle for almost a year now. The earliest records I can find of it being for sale (other than from the factory, to the original owner) was April of 2022. It's kind of worrying, but for the life of me I can't find anything wrong with it yet other than the miles being as high as they are. This dealer's been pretty... inconsistent, when it comes to our arrangement, though. He approved of a 1 to 1 trade, but told me the we should both run some numbers and do some more research, and talk about it on Monday. Good thing he told me to, because I realized that my car was worth a ton of money in trade-in value, and the MSRP was (obviously) higher than that. Once I brought up that I saw how the price range was looking, he went from not remembering a thing about my vehicle to knowing that he needed to do a whole bunch to the car, and refused to accept me getting it checked out anywhere else, and was trying to deduct the cost of his 'repairs' from the lowest possible estimate on a spectrum that was shown on a site with the lowest estimate for trade-in value that I've seen, though even then, it wasn't fully accurate based on the actual condition of my car. In other words, it got shady.
Anyway, I'm here for cars lol.
So the next car is a 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L SE. It's.... pretty much just that. It's comfy, it's been well taken care of, new brakes, and... that's it. It's just a pretty standard, comfy, reliable looking car. The gas pedal could do with some adjusting imo, but that could just be a preference thing. This dealer wanted to compete with the other one I had mentioned (thank goodness), and offered me a $13k check for my car, or $14,000 in trade-in, which would line up nearly perfectly with the car I was looking at, since it was going for exactly that much, minus the obvious DMV fees and the like, which they'd ask that I cover if I take that deal.
Do either of these deals seem practical? Should I wait and hope prices drop? I know my car is worth more in trade-in value than dealerships I've visited (so far) are willing to give me, these two just happen to be less blatant in trying to lowball me. Also, as far as the Passat goes, I'm very curious about that one, since it's both cheaper and nicer, so any insight on that would certainly be appreciated.
Also, I just wanted to edit this so that people know that I understand the differences between pricing models, things like wholesale, trade-in, cash sale, MSRP, etc. and I know that obviously dealers aren't necessarily going to pay top dollar, but so far, there's been a pretty enormous gap lol. I know they have to make their money back, too, but I wanted to include this in case someone read through the post and got the impression that I was approaching this without having done research into how these things work and why.
