| Kodiak Flag Kodiak Kodiak is a small but prosperous country located in southern Alaska. It was once a part of the Russian Empire but has been an independent nation for over a century. The country has a population of around 500,000 people, with the majority of the population living in the capital city of Kodiak. Kodiak's economy is mainly driven by mining and fishing. The country is blessed with abundant natural resources, including gold, copper, and seafood, which has made it a prosperous nation. Kodiak is also a major exporter of these resources to other countries, which has further boosted its economy. The country's flag reflects its strong cultural ties to America and Canada, with a red, white, and blue color scheme and a maple leaf in the center. The flag also features a bear, which is a nod to the Kodiak bear, a species that is native to the region and revered by the people. The landscape of Kodiak is rugged and beautiful, with snow-capped mountains, dense forests, and pristine lakes and rivers. The climate is cold and harsh, with long winters and short summers, but the people of Kodiak have adapted to the harsh conditions and built a thriving community. Although Russians were once the dominant ethnic group in Kodiak, they are now a small minority, and the country's demographics have been largely shaped by the Kodiak gold rush of the early 20th century, which brought in large numbers of Americans and Canadians. Kodiak is known for its rich cultural heritage, with traditional music, dance, and art being popular among the people. The country is also famous for its delicious seafood cuisine, including salmon, halibut, and crab. Despite its small size, Kodiak is a proud and independent nation, with a population that is dedicated to preserving its unique cultural heritage while embracing the opportunities of the modern world. The country is a shining example of how a small nation can thrive and prosper in the global economy. Transczechia Flag Transczechia Transczechia is a landlocked country located in Eastern Europe, bordering Russia to the east, Poland to the north, Slovakia to the west, and Ukraine to the south. The country has a population of around 10 million people, with the majority of the population residing in the capital city of Praha. The country was once a part of the former Soviet block, and the legacy of that era can still be seen in its political and economic systems. Despite having a rich history and culture, Transczechia has been struggling with economic hardship and political corruption, which has hindered its progress in recent years. The country's flag feature a red star, symbolizing its strong cultural ties to the former Soviet Union, along with a blue and white background that reflects the influence of the Czechian population. The blue and white colors also represent the country's aspirations for a brighter future and a prosperous economy. The country's landscape is diverse, with rugged mountains, rolling hills, and fertile plains. The climate is continental, with cold winters and warm summers, making it an ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts. Transczechia is known for its rich cultural heritage, with traditional folk music, dance, and art being popular among the people. The country is also famous for its hearty cuisine, which includes dishes such as goulash, schnitzel, and dumplings. Despite its challenges, Transczechia is a resilient country, with a population that is determined to overcome the obstacles and create a better future for themselves and their children. The country is slowly but surely moving towards a more democratic and transparent political system, and the government is working hard to attract foreign investment and promote economic growth. Brasilia Flag (Same as City Flag) Brasilia Brasilia is a tiny, but bustling city-state located in South America. It was designed to be the capital of Brazil, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the city-state became independent in the early 1970s. The city-state is unique in that it was designed by the renowned urban planner, Lucio Costa. In the 1960s, the city was planned to be the new capital of Brazil and was to be a model of modern urban planning. However, after its creation, Brasilia faced many challenges, including isolation and a lack of representation from major political and economic hubs. The city was struggling to function effectively within the larger framework of Brazil's politics and economy. As a result, the leaders of Brasilia decided to declare independence from Brazil in the 1970s. In addition, city kept its city flag design. This allowed the city-state to have more control over its own affairs and to run more efficiently. Over the years, Brasilia has become a thriving metropolis, with a population of over 10 million people. The city-state is known for its unique culture, which blends elements of Brazilian and other South American cultures. The people of Brasilia are proud of their independence and the thriving economy that they have built. The city-state's economy is based on a variety of industries, including technology, finance, and tourism. Brasilia's skyline is dominated by modern architecture, with sleek skyscrapers and innovative designs. The city-state is also home to several iconic landmarks, including the Brasilia Cathedral and the National Congress of Brazil. Despite its independence, Brasilia has maintained strong ties to Brazil and other South American nations. The city-state is a hub of culture, commerce, and innovation, and it continues to be a shining example of how urban planning can shape the destiny of a nation. submitted by NeutronicTachyon to ChatGPT [link] [comments] |
2023.03.29 08:00 Correct-Poem8334 Watch Cocaine Bear Online For Free Streaming On at Home
Universal Pictures! Here are options for downloading or watching Cocaine Bear streaming the full movie online for free on 123movies & Reddit, including where to watch the anticipated Horror movie at home. Cocaine Bear 2023 available to stream? Is watching Cocaine Bear on Disney Plus, HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime? Yes, we have found an authentic streaming option/service.
Tired of sequels and remakes? Are you or a loved one experiencing franchise fatigue? Universal Pictures has lined up an antidote for you. The company looks to blow fresh air into theaters with Cocaine Bear, a bonkers comedy/action-thriller starring Keri Russell; the late, great Ray Liotta; and a coked-up, bloodthirsty black bear. Read our Cocaine Bear review for more info.
Yet, a true story is exactly what inspired the next film from filmmaker Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear (2023), which tells the very real story of, you guessed it, a black bear under the influence of cocaine. Well, to be perfectly honest, the inciting incident and namesake of the film is seemingly the only true event to be seen, originating from an event where a wild Georgian bear helped itself to a large serving of smuggled cocaine when a plane crashed in the state in 1985. The horrific and bloody rampage that the bear embarks on for the film adaptation is fictional, but it also looks like a hell of an absurd good time.
Where can you watch Cocaine Bear? Is it on Netflix? What about HBO Max? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:
Cocaine Bear is in theaters everywhere this weekend. If you're wondering how and where you can watch it yourself, take a look at the information below.
What Is the Release Date for Cocaine Bear?
Moviegoers everywhere shall be able to see a mammal with a drug addiction wreak havoc and destruction on the state of Georgia when Cocaine Bear premieres exclusively in theaters on Friday, February 24th, 2023.
An oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converges in a Georgia forest after a 500-pound black bear ingests a large amount of cocaine and goes on a drug-fueled rampage. Streaming on Roku.
Is Cocaine Bear Being Released on Streaming?
Audiences who wish to learn just exactly how one of nature's apex predators ingested at least a kilo of an illicit substance will have to find a theater near them as that's the place where Cocaine Bear will be available once it premieres later this upcoming February. No announcements in regard to if and when Cocaine Bear will receive a streaming release have not yet been made, but Peacock seems to be a likely streaming home for the dark comedy given it's a production of Universal Pictures.
Cocaine Bear is not currently available to stream online, though it will eventually be released on Peacock. Cocaine Bear distributor Universal Pictures cut a deal with Peacock in 2021 to have all of its movies come to the streaming service within four months of their theatrical debuts. This would put Cocaine Bear's streaming debut sometime before June 24.
Where to Watch Cocaine Bear Online Free?
As of now, the only way to watch Cocaine Bear is to head to a theater when it releases on Friday, Feb. 3. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or buy on digital platforms like Vudu, Amazon, Apple and YouTube, or become available to stream on Peacock. Read on for more information.
Watch Now: Cocaine Bear Full Movie Online Free
Following its release in theaters, the film will be available to stream on Peacock. Expect the movie to hit the streamer 45 days after its theatrical run, which should be sometime in December.
Will Cocaine Bear be on Netflix?
Unfortunately, Cocaine Bear isn’t available to stream on Netflix. The romantic comedy isn’t included in the lineup of Netflix movies, which includes a vast number of rom-coms featuring some of our favorite actors and actresses.
If you want to watch Julia Roberts movies on Netflix, check out Ben Is Back, August: Osage County, Steel Magnolias, and Runaway Bride. Roberts always appeared in Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve with her Cocaine Bear co-star George Clooney, and both movies are currently streaming on Netflix as of October 2023.
Will Cocaine Bear Available On Peacock?
While a streaming release date has not yet been announced for Cocaine Bear, we can estimate when it could head to Peacock based on another Universal Pictures movie.
Violent Night, which hit theaters on Dec. 2, became available to stream on Peacock on Jan. 20 — a little over 45 days after its theatrical release. If Cocaine Bear follows the same pattern, it could make its way to the platform by mid-April. However, other movies like Nope took more than 100 days, so it’s best to take this estimate with a grain of salt.
Will Cocaine Bear Streaming On HBO Max?
No, Cocaine Bear will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. While the company previously released its movies on HBO Max and in theaters on the same day, they have since stopped and have implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and streaming release.
What Is Cocaine Bear About?
Considering the enormous amount of writing talent that swims in our worldwide creative lake it can often be surprising when, beyond documentaries, we learn of a particular tale being true. However, sometimes the best and most ludicrous stories can only be the work of reality, and Cocaine Bear is one such narrative. Of course, exact details regarding the originality of the plot are yet to be seen but, with a true story as incredible as this one, it would be fair to suggest the writers may stay true to life.
Based on a true story, Cocaine Bear is a dark comedy action-thriller about a rampaging bear high on cocaine. Here's the official synopsis from Universal:
Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner's plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild thriller finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow and blood.

2023.03.29 07:46 MistaGeh What I want from the 3 skills
Sailing
POH 2 and "naval wildy." If we can get another instanced designed hub with things we don't currently have, such as silver jewellery box, then that's what I call meaningful non-game-breaking. Naval wildy for the memes. Also fishing augmenting and a reliable method of getting manta rays with +85 sailing levels to balance it.
Taming
I just want Maplestory pets. I'm still wearing ring of wealth at every slayer task to reduce the stuff I need to pick from floor. So as long as they add pets that fetch the loot from ground to your inventory, slowly or at limited ranged scaling with the taming level, I'm happy. In additon I also hate the way achievement diaries work and affect skilling with Varrock armour and Kebos scroll. Instead I want the croc-pet to have a chance to dive into fishing spot to get me an extra fish. A snake pet that applies poison to enemies? A bear that poops unicorn horns passively to aid herblore?
Since we don't want pet clutter in the game and the pets might be hidden for others, I want multiple pets to follow in party (1-3?) Also the meme potentials are off the roof. I don't want too serious designs. Give me gnome children as "tamed pets". Or at least a ornament kit that makes monkey pets look like that. I want the Thurgo pet for real.
Shamanism
I want the name and theme changed completely. Honestly I just wish we had archeology instead of this. I can't imagine this being fun without breaking the game or overcomplicating it. I hate niche buffs with barely having an effect that needs to be maintained. If this passes it might just suck the draw of this game for me so... I really wish this doesn't pass haha.
EDIT: It's funny how I thought at this before sleeping but, isn't this shamanisms basically summoning? You collect "tokens" to maintain your "buff" that's also spirit based? Instead of follower, it's oil. Sure the Taming has the animal theme of summoning but Shamanism is really just summoning in mechanical side with leaf and goo as camouflage?
I imagine the sailing mechanic to be like Heroes of Might and Magic 3. When entering the ocean, your character is replaced with miniature of the ship (1x1 tile just like your normal character), and you play on the sea the same way as on land.

2023.03.29 07:44 bakejosh What one thing would you do to improve this truck's capability re: overlanding, sand, and mud?
| Link to specs in comments. Pics are from a Car and Driver photoshoot (Credit: James Lipton). 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited. It's the Badlands + aesthetics and some comfort stuff. 2.0 EcoBoost, twin-clutch rear drive unit, 8.8" ground clearance (That's the spec. One review said 8.6) It's my daily, so I've got no plans to go nuts. I love the beasts y'all post on here, so I'm curious what y'all might do with a pint-sized truck. I'm not in a big rush to do anything, really; just looking for insight at this point. I'm a casual. Experience is an '86 Bronco and an '89 Land Cruiser; but it's been >20 years since I had a fun vehicle. Had some buddies with a few huge and cool-looking rigs, but none of us knew what the hell we were doing, lol. Multi-day overland camping is my sweet-spot, and getting to difficult-access surfing and fishing spots is cool for me. I'm thinking a winch is in order, but maybe y'all have some better insight? Do they make winches that you can take off between trips without a huge hassle? I've never owned one. There's a little off-roading ranch 30 minutes from me. Gonna take my daughter out there this weekend and get the truck dirty. Guess I'll know a bit more about her then. submitted by bakejosh to 4x4 [link] [comments] |

2023.03.29 07:15 ohmmyzaza Alligator Gar VS Northern Pike
who would win between the Alligator Gar & Northern Pike with some information of combatant
Alligator Gar VS Northern Pike
Battlefield:Inland Lake
Information
Northern Pike
The northern pike (Esox lucius) is a species of carnivorous fish of the genus Esox (the pikes). They are typical of brackish and fresh waters of the Northern Hemisphere (i.e. holarctic in distribution). They are known simply as a pike in Great Britain, Ireland, and most of Eastern Europe, Canada and the United States.
Pike can grow to a relatively large size: the average length is about 40–55 cm (16–22 in), with maximum recorded lengths of up to 150 cm (59 in) and published weights of 28.4 kg (63 lb). The IGFA currently recognizes a 25 kg (55 lb) pike caught by Lothar Louis on Greffern Lake, Germany, on 16 October 1986, as the all-tackle world-record northern pike. Northern pike grow to larger sizes in Eurasia than in North America, and typically grow to larger sizes in coastal, rather than inland, regions of Eurasia.
Alligator Gar
The alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula) is a ray-finned euryhaline fish related to the bowfin in the infraclass Holostei /hoʊˈlɒstiaɪ/. It is the largest species in the gar family, and among the largest freshwater fish in North America. The fossil record traces its group's existence back to the Early Cretaceous over 100 million years ago. Gars are often referred to as "primitive fishes", or "living fossils" because they have retained some morphological characteristics of their early ancestors, such as a spiral valve intestine, which is also common to the digestive system of sharks, and the ability to breathe both air and water. Their common name was derived from their resemblance to the American alligator, particularly their broad snouts and long, sharp teeth. Anecdotal evidence suggests that an alligator gar can grow up to 10 ft (3.0 m) in length.

2023.03.29 07:05 mtf612 Dog aggressively cleaning herself in distress
*Species: dog - *Age: 2 - *Sex/Neuter status: female, spayed - *Breed: corgi - *Body weight: ~30lbs - *History: no history of issues other than those listed - *Duration: 5 months - *Your general location: Northeast USA
For the last few months, my dog has occasionally aggressively cleaned her groin to the point where she is in distress. When she does this, she will cry out in pain, stop in distress (panting), and become completely uninterested in anything we offer to distract her (even treats). The problem tends to occur more often at night as we are getting settled for bed, but it happens at random times. There doesn't seem to be a triggering event. Our vet has suggested anxiety, but that too seems wrong because I have seen the dog get up from a nap, unprompted, to engage in the aggressive licking behavior.
We have taken her to the vet for this issue now several times. X-Ray, urinalysis, and bacterial swab all came back negative. The vet wants to put my dog on SSRIs—but again, anxiety feels like an incorrect diagnosis.
I am going to take her to another veterinarian for a second opinion, despite that I have been told there are no other tests to run, but any issue spotting you all could provide would be greatly appreciated.

2023.03.29 07:03 Ludosys Beta feedback from a QA professional dev - mostly UX notes/wishlist
TL;DR: Open Beta Feedback for Blizzard devs. Please upvote so they see it <3
Here are my notes on the Open Beta, consisting mainly of UX feedback and some bugs. For background, I have been embedded QA at a AAA studio and had a high focus on Player Experience. My purpose for posting this here is that I hope the devs will find it (we certainly perused Reddit for bugs at my studio). If you feel the need to comment/discuss, please stick to adding to the feedback instead of refuting it. Even if you disagree, this is still valid feedback from a certain type of player perspective. Please do upvote to ensure the devs find it. Thank you!
Overall this was a very positive experience and I am very excited to play the full game, but I do hope there are a few things that get addressed before then. This beta felt very polished but some of the UX things noted felt more unfinished.
These notes are mostly in the order of when I thought of them as I was playing through. There is a section at the end for praise (positive feedback).
Scenario: I played on PS5. I started one of each class and played until reaching Kyovashad or slightly further, and played a Sorcerer to level 25 and the end of the campaign content. I did some of this in networked co-op with one other player, and the rest solo.
Feedback Notes:
I feel like Evade and teleport cooldowns should be half as much as they are. (later found boots that can reduce cooldowns or add more charges, this feel like a step in the right direction).
Need a quicker way to teleport to another player in your party without going to town first. Interact wheel? Map? If it exists, I couldn't figure it out. Appreciated the ability to travel directly to a waypoint from anywhere though. Maybe the player marker on map can act as a waypoint.
Potion upgrade crafting feels wholly unnecessary. Feels like crafting only for the sake of having crafting. No value add. The friction for crafting mats is so minor and only punishes those who have never picked up any crafting mats. Basically if you have mats, you just press the button and now your potion heals you more. No step to go out and seek the materials. The main friction is your character level. Why not just have it automatically increase with each level? Or keep the D3 system where it heals for a percentage of your health. I'm level 20 and already have enough materials to nearly upgrade every tier of the potions up to 90. The materials have no bearing. And I collect them passively, may as well just be gold, or nothing at all.
Want to assign melee button to a skill slot. Wanna go back to my stabby-stabby rogue. Once you spend your first ability point, you cannot go back to just using your weapon. Have unequipped slot act as a melee? Or have melee be an option for assignment? My party partner was so frustrated by this and spent a half hour trying to get it to work and ended up quitting.
Why can't I remap my skills to other buttons from the beginning? I want to have my primary attack on the right trigger, but have to use X and then wait til I'm level 10 to remap it, at which point I have to retrain my muscle memory again.
It'd be nice to have the option to tune the PS5 controller's trigger threshold for an attack. I have to pull the trigger all the way to use my skill but it'd be better to have it only a partial pull (I could be wrong but regardless it'd be nice to be able to tune it).
Item tooltip in inventory covers up the view of the character stats, which i want to see change as I equip the item. Have to constantly dance my cursor on and off the item to compare how the numbers change.
Want to preview all stat changes as a whole for a piece of gear, like the down/up arrows in D3. Currently a +3 damage can be misleading if it removes a +3 intelligence (or primary stat) property in the process, which reduces attack power. Maybe while hovering or comparing an item, show the (+3) next to the current Attack Power, Armor, etc to show how it would change with that item.
I want to disable the clicking sound when I highlight an interactable/lootable object. I see other great sound options in the menu but could not find that. On consoles, since it’s constantly targeting items as I’m walking around, I was hearing it incessantly and it became meaningless.
Can I have the option for item labels to display indefinitely? And/or have the L stick toggle on/off but otherwise no timer? Appreciate having options for how long to display them, but I want longer options than 10 seconds.
Rogue should have more dodge as a class perk. Maybe multiple charges, less cooldown, or no cooldown? Upgradeable dodge? Boots can have these properties but rogue should have it inherent since moving around the battlefield is a core strategy in this class.
Health globes seem to despawn after a short time? Feels like this needs to be much longer. Seemed inconsistent. Maybe they were getting despawned during more intense battles, which is exactly when I want them to stick around for when I need it.
Hard to get used to not being able to walk over a health globe to heal. Nice if it would heal you and give your potion a charge like the healing wells do. Combination of the D3 and D2 health systems. I find that when I see a health globe, I look at my health to see how low it is, press the heal button, then walk over the globe to recharge. Just remove the step and heal me when I walk over it.
Unable to evade away when stunned but able to sorc teleport (“unstoppable”). Let me evade out from a stun please, especially since evade is on a cooldown so I still have to be strategic with it.
UI/UX interactions on the character creation screen are inconsistent. Sometimes I can just hover select an option to see it previewed, and sometimes I have to manually click it to see it. Most of them allow you to scroll through one at a time with D pad, but the Markings options scroll one at a time til it gets to the edge, then scrolls an entire page, skipping 3 of the options if you just continue to press the right D pad.
Class perks (enchantments, book of the dead, etc) have really inconsistent requirements and ways/frictions/times to obtain them. Necromancer gets theirs at like level 3. Sorcerer gets a side quest to go find the book in a dungeon, not sure when that showed up, maybe around level 15 (didn’t notice it til much later.)? But druid at level 15 is just given the perk, no fetch quest required?
If I'm targeting a destructible object with a skill that uses resource, but don't have enough of that resource, just use melee please, instead of just telling me I have no resource and not hitting the object.
I want to pick my character's voice/accent in addition to the rest of the appearance stuff. Don't need to add more, just let me choose from the ones that exist across the character classes - basically I don't want the voice tied to the class, just let me assign the voice to my character as I see fit. This would be even better if you could choose a feminine/masculine voice regardless of the body type chosen.
Can I also pick my pronouns?
Also I want facial hair options on female models (hide this toggle in an option menu if you have to), body hair options (including for women - I want my druid to have hairy legs), and scar options that aren't intentional markings but are more like battle wounds.
The scarring marking color does not really look like scarring. Looks more like paint. (blood is awesome though)
Henna has a lighter outline on some skin tones.
Wish list: Lost and Found loot for high rarity items like in Borderlands. If I’m partied with someone and something they killed generated a legendary for me, I want that item to go to a lost and found instead of requiring that I comb through everywhere they’ve been to ensure I didn’t miss something good.
Are there no more pets to pick up your gold? Or can I have a bigger pickup radius? Feels tedious to run around a bunch of circles to pick up gold. I wish this was more automatic. There’s never a time I don’t want to pick up gold.
I want the big center button on PS controller to open inventory, not map. But I can't remap that one. Want more similar to D3 controller layout, with map on Lstick and inventory on big button. That’s not an option apparently. Why keep changing the controller mappings with each new game? Terribly inconsistent across D3, D2Res, and D4 with very few customization options.
Salvage interface does not match sell interface. Cannot sell individual junk item (can only sell all Junk at once), or sell all of a rarity class like you can in the salvage menu.
Button mappings in sell interface are exact opposite of when in inventory (square to mark as junk in inventory equips in sell menu). The Stash interface matches the Sell screen too. I tried to mark an item as junk while looking at my stash, and it equipped it instead. This felt confusing and annoying.
When you first get to Kyovashad, Boza gives the Raising Spirits quest, and then the next side quest has us seeking out Bozan in Masetad Coffers. Names are too similar and confusing. I thought they were talking about the same person at first.
Distance from waypoint to stash/wardrobe seems a bit long, having to go up narrow stairway or wide path around back. Should place it outside of the inn near the waypoint. And its location on the map is misleading since you have to travel through the building to get to it, instead around the building like it looks on the map.
Aspects tied to an individual item - I wish it were on the slot like kanai's cube. Maybe if you were allowed to re-extract the same aspect at a discount/free for the next item upgrade? Or have one aspect able to equip to each slot, in addition to having them on an item?
Ore generators keep glowing/shimmering after I've collected from it.
I want my character to be barefoot or have sandals. Can the “unequipped” look be minimal foot attire?
I want to be able to zoom out of the skill tree to navigate the whole thing instead of little by little.
Wishlist: I want to send items to stash or sell or salvage them from the field. Like No Man's Sky salvage/refine and trade rocket, or Torchlight's pets that run back and sell at the market. Minimize trips back to town just to sell/salvage. More merchants/blacksmiths littered around are very helpful though.
Very early on, I keep picking up items that say they unlock new looks on salvage, so I want to save them, but I have no idea how long it will be until I find a blacksmith (before I’ve gotten to Kyovashad for the first time). Also my inventory got cluttered up with items that I picked up before I got poisoned and didn’t get a chance to sell before I was forced to kill the merchant. On second playthrough I was able to mitigate that, but first time (when I need the gold a lot more) it felt like I had screwed myself.
Loading screen tips are useful, but go by too quickly of you are on PS5 (first world problems!). It'd be nice to have a place to read those in a menu, since some of them looked pretty useful to know.
Sometimes I see the orange circle like there's an event but there's no event happening. The last time, I came back to it a minute or two later and an event started. Maybe missing a countdown to event start?
I want to change the name of my character. Maybe limit to one change? Or cost a bunch of gold? In D3 I did this by creating a new character, power leveling it, then equipping all the gear from my old one. I don’t think that option is going to be quite as viable here (maybe?)
Appreciate being able to change jewelry and markings after creation, but I also want to change the hair and facial hair too. Character needs a haircut.
Bug: when changing character appearance at wardrobe, the current markings are not selected.
I want to mark something as a favorite or be able to manually sort inventory to set aside items I might use. On console at least, the inventory cannot be manually sorted, only automatically by pressing R3. Then I lose track of which item it was I wanted to keep. Maybe also give me options for how the inventory gets sorted? Sort by type, rarity, value, order of pickup, etc?
Wishlist: small training grounds area in town to test new weapons and abilities, since you cannot use these in town. Maybe attack some dummies in the training area at the NE of town where you first cheered on the recruits?
Lots of inconsistency in what progresses for the party vs what progresses per player. If I interact with an npc, it may show only me the cinematic, or it may pull both of us in. I have no way to know before I start it. If I skip it, and my party-mate does not, when I press to interact on the next step it pulls them out of their cinematic. No obvious indication when it's an action that affects the party as a whole. Side quests do not progress for both of us at all, even if we’re on the same side quest on the same step. Each needs to do the interaction separately. I think this either needs to be made more consistent, or communicated much better to the players what to expect as far as party progression.
Rogue is far more vocal than other classes. The sounds are over exaggerated and a bit inappropriate sounding. This was played on a female Rogue. Haven’t tried male.
I don't want gems to take up space. Moved in the right direction in D3 to allow stacking, but I wish they wouldn't take up space at all, especially that each gem tier and type takes up a stack space. Can they go into another tab like the consumables and quest items do?
When refunding and reallocating ability points, it's difficult to swap points from one first tier ability to another because it temporarily would break a connection to a later ability (so would not allow me to do it). Had to do some weird juggling to make it work. So if I wanted to switch from Claw to Maul, I had to undo points higher in the tree (Shred), spend it on Maul, then undo Claw, then re-spend on Shred. I should be able to just swap points on the same tier. Or what if each tier of the tree unlocked at a certain character level instead of being based on number of skill points spent?
Couldn't salvage an item that I had upgraded, but it still said unlocks new look on salvage (what a tease!).
Bug; around the right of the alabaster monastery entrance is some black spots / Z fighting, maybe something clipping through the snow?
Before the final act boss fight, I did hear the clanking footsteps but didn’t know what it was and thought it was a bug, until my character said I’m being followed. However, during the big boss fight, I did not notice when the Knight Penitent showed up. And when I did see him, I didn’t know he was on my side. I was very confused for the first half of the fight. I finally figured out he was there to help and shield me, which was a nice mechanic. I both loved and hated having to dodge all over the battlefield to avoid getting hit by the poison stuff. Made for an interesting fight but didn't leave me a lot of chances to deal damage since I was constantly playing defense.
Boss enemies have no introduction. I’m just suddenly fighting them and often do not get a chance to look at their design or size them up before engaging in battle. D3 had a nice little intro for each boss where they’d talk to you for a moment and you could appreciate the art and mentally prepare yourself for battle. I couldn’t tell you what the final boss was called or what it looked like, since I was too busy trying not to die through the whole fight.
Lots of running back and forth to previously discovered places that did not have waypoints. Examples: Kor Valar, Horadric Vault, Black Lake. Like, Go from Black Lake back to Horadric Vault back to Black Lake and I’m like “C’mon, I was JUST THERE!” and then I have to find a somewhat nearby waypoint and then trek the rest of the way there. These places should have waypoints or else like a portal that opens in town as a shortcut to return for the quest.
I felt like I was getting weaker as I leveled up. This is likely because enemies are scaling to my level, but I had not found better gear, so my damage felt lower. I even checked to make sure I was on the lowest world tier since I was struggling to get through portions.
Praise (with some suggestions):
Skill system is novel and interesting. Works fairly well. Good balance of D3 style rune choices and D2 style added skill points. Though I do wish each additional point gave a bigger bonus since it’s limited to 5. Appreciate that you can respect for free under level 15, and that you can undo/return a single skill point spent rather than the entire tree. More freedom to try things.
Potion charge system is a big improvement on D3's single use cooldown. Though I kind of wish there was a hybrid approach. Let charges recharge themselves over time? Auto heal when picking up an orb?
Fast travel is nice, skips the step of going to town and then hopping on the waypoint. Just go directly to the waypoint you want (just need this for getting to other players now).
World building is more immersive. There is more showing and less telling. Side quests, inspectable objects, NPC dialog, etc. Much better than the lore book entries. Even when there are lore-book type things the way they’re done is much more from the perspective of the people inhabiting this world and less like an entry in a bestiary. For example, the one about the monk trying to save someone that was killed and resurrected by the Khazra…. It was so emotional and heartfelt and gave you much more immersion into this brutal world than a bestiary entry that tells you that Khazra can resurrect people.
Voice acting is superb. Enough said.
I love that the looks (transmogs) are slot based instead of item based. Can turn off a look on the fly. Big thumbs up.
Also the entire character creator is something I never knew I needed in a Diablo game. I really enjoyed getting to create my own interpretations on the classes. Wakanda Warrior Rogue, Native American Druid, Arab Sorcerer, Necromancer Jesus…. This was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed seeing other people’s takes on them as well. It allowed me to build a little backstory of my character. But also each class is still distinctive enough that I could tell what other players’ classes were just at a glance (mostly from body type).
Oh also the body type diversity is really great.
I like the distinction between cellars and dungeons. Dungeon objectives and bosses were a nice surprise, and a bit of a challenge!
Merchants and blacksmiths are present enough that I rarely, if ever, had to run to town just to offload items despite picking up literally everything.
Camera moves in closer when in a town/village and subtly pulls back when leaving town. Nice.
One hand weapon + offhand is more viable dps now. Haven't had to swap for a 2 handed weapon like I usually do in D3.
Checkmark in dungeons and cellars to indicate you've completed them is really nice. But I wasn’t sure if that persisted the next time I loaded the game. It’d be nice if it did.
I like the persistent world maps but randomized dungeons. This felt like a nice balance. Don’t have to re-explore the area every time you travel back to a place.
Liked that the enemies respawn in the open world.
I like that completion (exploration, cellars, etc) persists across sessions but being able to reset dungeons manually. Less pressure to stay in a current play session in order to maintain maps, etc.
The scenic views are a really cool feature. I want more of them!
So much more moral nuance. I’m loving this so far. Please give us more reason to question why we immediately assume all demons are bad and evil, when it was both demon and angel that created humans. We’ve got the “angels aren’t all that great either” but I want to see the other side of that coin which is “not all demons are literally the worst”. I’m seeing seeds of this with the bloodied wolf and Lilith, and I hope it continues moving in that direction.
THANK YOU for allowing me the option to disable the “I can't use this yet. Not enough Mana.” dialog. Though I had to dig down all the way in the sound (or accessibility?) menu to find it. I’ve been wanting this option since D2.
Appreciate that the “looks” are unlocked for all of your characters, so you don’t have to re-salvage the same items on each.
Some really neat quest mechanics like the pilgrimage. Though I feel like that could go a bit further. Maybe reduce the abilities you can use, make you move slower, no/less healing, or something like that to really make it feel impactful. Right now it's just dark around you but otherwise normal.
Finally fixed my #1 complaint about D3 - We now have split screen inventory management in couch co-op! Yay!
If I had to pick only one thing from this list to fix before launch, it'd be the inconsistency/lack of communication around what quest steps and cinematics get shared across the party and what is individual. The number of times my party mate and I had to say, "Are you still in the cinematic? Did that advance for you? You have to talk to the guy. Stop talking, I'm trying to listen. Oh geez, I didn't know it was gonna skip your cinematic!" were too many.

2023.03.29 06:42 Shanedugg 6 days of great eats in NYC..
Coming all the way from Vancouver, Canada I recently had the great blessing to be able to stay in NYC for 6 days and here is the list of places I ate at and my short reviews:
Night 1
NR ramen cocktail bar in the UES. We went there last year and had a bit more enjoyable of an experience then due to the great service (thank you Ray!) but as per this time, the ramen was still good (nice chewy noodles and rich broth) and the cocktails inventive and on point. Wish they would do dessert. Really busy spot and I was happy to see others enjoying this fun ramen bar. 7/10.
Day 2
Rule of Thirds in Brooklyn. Brunch with cocktails, Japanese breakfast for my daughter and the souffle pancake for myself. Wife had... I forget. Everyone was happy. I really loved the cucumber side dish. The pancake was not as good as what I have had at a Japanese chain place called Gram but it was decent. Overall the room was great, service nice and the location a hit as we did a bunch of vintage shopping in Williamsburg right after. 7/10.
Night 2
Atomix. Wow. Just wow. Dream like atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The food was inventive, challenging and at all times delicious. There was a tuna, caviar and snap pea dish that blew my mind. They also made sea cucumber delicious. How is that even possible? The matcha cocktail was another scene stealer. And the rice cream dessert with fresh black truffle shavings, come on. Pure heaven. I have been a fan of Korean food for a long time. This version of Korean fine dining was something special. 10/10. Highest recommendation. I will never forget this meal.
Day 3
Hop Kee in Chinatown for lunch. This was a misstep. The portions were big but not delicious. Thr service was laughably atrocious but at least endearing. The server delivered the wonton soup and then began to dig around in it after it was on the table to make sure we got duck meat. We had in fact but wish we hadn't. The duck tasted gamey. The salt and pepper squid dish was rough. The prominent flavors here were salt and grease. The rest of the meal went about the same. We left wondering how any one could recommend this place. Is this the typical quality of Chinese food in NYC? If so, Vancouver blows it outta the water. 2 outta 10 as the free tea was nice as it helped us digest all the grease. Kinda cool to get fortune cookies too. Reminded me of when I was a kid.
Night 3
Keen's Steakhouse. We absolutely loved the meal and the experience of eating at this NYC institution. I took on the challenge of the mutton chop and did my best with that delicious beast of a dish. My wife and daughter split a massive T-bone and barely got through it. Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes for sides were both perfect and the Pimms went down smooth. House made carrot cake for dessert was a hit. Our server Thomas was fantastic. The place is fun. The prices more than fair. I cannot wait to return someday. 10/10.
Day 4
Off to Washington DC for the day but we did Liberty bagels for breakfast and those were well enjoyed on our Amtrak ride. I won't grade bagels though as I am not an expert. I pretty much have never had a bad bagel from a bagel shop that serves them fresh.
Day 5
Clocktower restaurant for breakfast. This was a mistake. Overpaid for a really sad excuse of a breakfast. I have had better instant oatmeal. Coffee was nice and regularly refilled. But I would never go back. 15 dollars for a smoothie in a oversized shot glass. What was I thinking. Yikes. 1/10.
Sushi 35 West for lunch number 1. Wow. Best sushi I have had in North American including a recent Michelin star winning place in Vancouver. We scoffed down this amazingly delicious fresh and fast food find in Herald Park. Every bite was superb. If I lived in NYC, I would be eating here 5 times a week easily. And for the prices, it is probably the best deal in town. 10/10.
Chick fil-A for lunch number 2. Daughter had to have the nuggets. Hey it is what it is. 5/10.
Papaya King for lunch number 3. The special combo with the Papaya drink, all scoffed down super quickly so we could get outta here and back to the hotel to rest up for our late dinner. It was my third visit and I place I will religiously return to every time I am back in NYC. It is a damn good hot dog and drink. Simple as that. 7/10.
Night 5
Eleven Madison Park. The all plant based menu had me hesitant to book EMP but given its proximity to our hotel I felt like I should book it since I kept asking myself when would we have the chance to do it again. I am so glad we did. Although the meal had some dishes far better than others, the room itself, the elite level of service (thank you Brandon) and the overall experience was one of a kind. The abundance of truffles on the menu and the truffle cocktail (called the mushroom) were heavenly. And the granola gift at the end is a perfect way to end a one of a kind experience. I appreciate you plants! I truly appreciate you. 10/10.
Day 6
Katz's Deli. Best pastrami this side of Schwartz's in Montreal. Loved the space and the experience. Price is crazy at 26 bux but we split the sandwich in 3 and all felt full leaving. The cherry sodas and the pickles were also great. 8/10.
Russ and Daughters for bagels and an egg cream. Loved this place and don't regret that egg cream no matter my lactose intolerance. Totally worth it.
Shake Shack at the airport for burgers and fries. Perfect way to end the trip. I have yet to eat a bad burger from SS. 7/10.
If you got through all that, thanks and also I hope some of these reviews help others in deciding where or where not to eat when visiting the amazing food mecca that is NYC. I will be back someday and Sushi 35 West better still be there!! Mama Mia, that sushi....

2023.03.29 06:42 schmidtwerd "Must ride" [road/mountain] spots between Salt Lake, UT and Maryland?
Hi there, I am driving from Salt Lake to Maryland in early May. My current plan is to go down to Moab with some buddies and then head to Denver to stay with friends/family for 2-3 days.
From there, I don't really know what to do.. either just bang out the drive in 2 days or stop along the way for some rides and extend the duration of the drive (pros and cons to both). Between CO and West Virginia, I don't really know of any "must-ride" spots (obviously they're out there). I am traveling in my vehicle which I can sleep in fairly easily. I do not want to get too far out of my way (I-80 or I-70) but looking for suggestions on where I should stop for some riding.
I am mostly a roadie (Cat 3, USAC) but enjoy riding mountain bikes and have the technical skills to get down most hard terrain that isn't "sh*t your pants hardcore techy downhill" terrain. My MTB is ~150mm travel each way dual suspension (it's a carbon frame Diamond, forget the name; like I said, mostly a roadie) but I don't mind pedaling it uphill (again, a roadie). I do not have a gravel bike, only a Spec Tarmac for road riding.
If anyone feels strongly about road routes or mountain rides between Denver and Maryland, feel free to post here! :) Bonus points for links to routes via RwGPS or Strava (or whatever).
Cheers.

2023.03.29 06:40 Thesnipesully What are some of your most common tasks your bots have gotten banned the most doing?
Curious what everyone else’s experience are with high ban probability tasks. For me, I have had dozens of accounts lost to mining more then anything else. Hell I have let a single account run 24/7 on cows until max combat stats and nothing came of it. But the first day or two of mining I’ve lost countless. If I had to guess I’d probably say it would be because mining veins are always in the same tile, and because there are so few when efficiency mining. It’s a lot easier for them to click up on the x/y coordinates of where the mouse inputs are repeating on as opposed to something like fishing where the spots will generally change over time.

2023.03.29 06:39 Radiant-Meal-5937 Ideas for other animals that could run around the map!
-I already mentioned birds, but what about a bird’s nest in a few of the trees? Every so often, a baby bird pops its head out of the nest.
-squirrels
- how about some fish in the lake and ocean?
-bees and beehives!
-we see cats, maybe a dog on the map! Like in AshesTown.

2023.03.29 05:00 CalicoIda GuP conversational drama: Brook
Well since we're on the topic of someone's birthday coming up (Brook's on April 1st) I might as well make a post regarding her having a conversation with some of the Pravda students:
Based on this Drama CD also if the characters have [] as part of the dialogue, it's the english translation as there will be some language that Katyusha couldn't understand. Well onto the conversation.
"Brook, I've seen you for some time now and you seem to be getting along with us in the school but there isn't much I know about you. Kay saying you were raised in the deep south according to the paperwork seemed to be falsified. You don't sound like a southerner." Katyusha began speaking as she wanted to get to know Brook a bit more to see where she was truly from.
"Конечно, для таких, как ты, Катюша. Мудрость и любознательность человека может быть такой же глубокой, как само Каспийское море." Brook replied to Katyusha's conversation. Katyusha was feeling uneasy as she wasn't familiar with the language that Brook decided to speak in. [Of course for lady Katyusha such as you. One's wisdom and curiosity could be as deep as the Caspian Sea itself.]
"Uhhh... you aren't sounding like you speak Japanese. Nonna interpret." Katyusha gave the order for Nonna to figure out what Brook was saying.
"Yes." Nonna replied to Katyusha's wording. She turned to Brook and began speaking to her. "Я как никто другой знаю о славе Катюши, которая глубже Байкала и выше Кавказских гор." Nonna would tell Brook. [I know more than anyone else of Katyusha's glory, which is deeper than Lake Baikal, and stands taller than the Caucasus Mountains.]
"Гора Эльбрус на западном Кавказе? Это самая высокая гора, если предположить, что слава Катюши так же высока, как эта гора." Brook would ask if that was true that Katyusha's glory was the tallest mountain in that range. [Mount Elbrus in the west Caucasus? That's the tallest mountain assuming Katyusha's glory is as high as that mountain.]
"Да. Я впечатлен тем, что вы смогли назвать гору. Итак, Брук, откуда вы родом или, чтобы быть более точным, где вы родились?" Nonna would ask Brook where she was from or more specifically, where she was born at. [Yes. I am impressed that you were able to name the mountain. So anyway Brook, where are you from or to be more specific with you, where were you born?]
"Я родился на улице Святого Николая в Одессе. Это столица страны и город, в котором жило больше всего людей. Я родился в Петровском дворце на острове недалеко от главного города. Я младшая из четырех детей." Brook would explain where exactly she was born. Nonna seemed to nod but Katyusha was confused. [I was born at St. Nikolai, Odessa. It's the capital city of the country and one where the most people lived in. I was born in the Pyotrov Palace on an island just outside of the main city. I'm the youngest of four.]
"Nonna, how come I haven't heard of this place? Is it somewhere on the map?" Katyusha would ask as if she was confused about what Brook was talking about.
"Maybe, you can pull out a map and ask for Brook to point to where it is." Nonna told Katyusha that a flat map of the world would be more accurate to gauge where Brook's home town would be in. Katyusha nodded before pulling out a map to see where Brook was from. Nonna turned back to Brook. "Катюша достала для вас карту, она актуальна, так как мы не хотим, чтобы в ней были неточности относительно того, откуда вы родом. Вы можете указать на карте место вашего рождения." Nonna would instruct Brook on where she was regarding the map and where the palace would be located. [Katyusha has pulled out a map for you, it's up to date as we don't want anything inaccurate regarding where you are from. You can point at the map to see if you could give the location of your birth place.]
"Хорошо, я укажу вам место, где я родился." Brook replied to Nonna's request. She began scanning the map for where the palace would be, she finally found the spot of where the palace would be located at almost if she had it stored away in her mind. "Здесь, немного правее на длинной тонкой полоске земли." [Okay, I'll give you a location of where I was born. (One) Here, a little to the right on the long thin strip of land. (Two)]
"Вы родились за пределами самого Нью-Йорка. Я думаю, что вы сами не столько южанин, сколько городской житель. Кажется, теперь я понял, почему вы не говорите так, будто родились по документам, которые дал вам Сандерс." Nonna would finally figure out what Brook was saying regarding she was born. Katyusha nodded as if she was curious. Katyusha was curious about what Nonna and Brook were talking about. [You were born outside of New York City itself. I think you wouldn't come as much of a southerner than a city person yourself. I think I figured out now why you don't sound like you were born from the paperwork Saunders had given you.]
"Nonna where do you know Brook was born?" Katyusha asked if she didn't understand where Brook was from.
"Brook is from New York, maybe Long Island itself. I don't know which part but that is something I will ask her another day." Nonna told Katyusha where Brook was originally from.
"Brook why did you come to Pravda, were you not happy in Saunders?" Katyusha asked Brook directly if she would have found happiness in her school than the one she was previously in.
"Брук, почему вы пришли в "Правду"? Было ли в Сандерсе что-то не так, чем вы были недовольны, что привело к вашей нестабильности и тому, что вам трудно передвигаться?" Nonna asked as if she was one to look at Brook's injuries she had, it wasn't limited to a broken right wrist or a fractured right leg. Maybe there was something wrong with her that wasn't her physical injuries. [Brook, why did you come to Pravda? Was there something wrong in Saunders something you weren't happy about that has driven about your instability and the fact that you have trouble moving around?]
"Всегда Кей был причиной того, что я доводил себя до такого безумия. Я обращался к выпивке всякий раз, когда это становилось слишком тяжело, или бродил по лесу, чтобы посмотреть, смогу ли я провести ночь с парой друзей внутри какого-нибудь убежища, которое мы сделали из дерева и земли." Brook described what was going on and why she acted like this. Nonna couldn't help but feel pity for the person she was trying to help. [It's always Kay that is the reason why I drove myself to insanity like this. I turned to drinking whenever it became too much or wandering around the woods to see if I could spend the night out with a couple of friends inside of some shelter that we have made out of wood and earth.]
"Я думаю, что пить в таком возрасте нехорошо, я также слышал, что вы спрыгнули с борта корабля, когда вас отправляли обратно в США. Это действительно лучший вариант для вас? Я думаю, вы могли бы сделать это лучше." Nonna stated that behavior like this wasn't the best action one person could do. [I think drinking at this age isn't good, I also heard you jumped off the side of the ship when you were being sent back to the US. Is it the really the best option for you to do? I think you could have done better than that.]
Brook sighed while saying this. Nonna could feel a bit of her pain and wanted to try her best to help. [I just wanted to be forgotten about and not leave a trace behind. I was kind of happy in Japan but I don't think I was going to get out from Saunders. Kay isn't a very helpful person either, she says the only way to succeed and live life is with an expensive car, a large house and lots of men and cash. I spoke to some of the people whom I tried to befriend and said I wanted none of those things. I just wanted a place in the middle of nowhere with one man whom I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I don't know if I would want anything that would seem to be detrimental to one's life?]
"Вы рождены для всего и ничего не хотите в итоге. Все люди разные, Кей - это тот, кто хочет всего, а вы хотите ничего, чтобы уйти от всего. Исходя из того, что вы рассказали мне о своем пребывании в предыдущей школе, Брук, вы, похоже, страдаете от депрессии." Nonna explained to Brook that her feelings why she seemed to be going against the Saunders grain was the fact that she was feeling unhappy and wasn't going to improve. [You were born into everything and want nothing in the end. Everybody is different, Kay is someone who wants everything and you want nothing to get away from everything. Based on what you've told me regarding your time in your previous school, Brook you seem to be suffering from Depression.]
"Думаешь, ты сможешь меня вылечить? Ну, ты не можешь меня исправить." Brook told Nonna that if she was going to make any attempts at fixing her to make her the person whom Kay wanted to make and failed in the process, she was going to be racked with sadness. Nonna looked at Brook as she walked closer to her. [Do you think you can fix me? Well, you can't fix me.]
"Дело не в том, что я пытаюсь тебя исправить. Я просто хочу помочь вам почувствовать себя менее несчастным. Я хочу сделать все возможное, чтобы ты чувствовал себя лучше." Nonna explained to Brook that she only wanted to help her and try to make her feel better and not letting her emotions blindside her. Nonna wrapped her arms around Brook in a hug. "Не нужно прятать свои чувства за маской, которая все время улыбается, и думать, что все хорошо, не нужно убегать от своих чувств. Тебе нужно поговорить со мной, и я смогу понять, что я могу для тебя сделать. Может быть, я смогу выяснить, что тебе нравится, ведь на корабле много лесистых мест, где ты можешь побродить." [It's not that I'm trying to fix you. I just want to help you feel less miserable. I want to do everything I can to make you feel better. (One) You don't have to hide your feelings behind a mask that smiles all the time and thinks everything is okay, you don't have to run away from your feelings. You need to talk to me, and I can figure out what I can do for you. Maybe I can find out what you like, because there are lots of wooded places on the ship where you can wander. (Two)]
"Nonna, is something wrong with Brook?" Katyusha asked Nonna if something seemed to be bothering her friend and what she was saying in her attempt at helping.
"Brook is suffering from emotional distress. Neither Kay nor Saunders have a good track record for helping students with disabilities and emotional issues. Telling them to pull themselves up by the bootstraps when they are facing problems isn't the best way to solving the issue." Nonna explained to Katyusha that their friend was having problems. "We will have to work with her if she is to get over her problems." Nonna continued to run her hand through Brook's soft yet kind of fluffy short brown hair. "Also even though I'm willing to help you out, I am obligated to help others who are suffering from issues."
"Okay." Katyusha told Nonna. She then decided to press a button as if she was calling for someone. "Nina, can you come here for a second?" Even though Katyusha was calling for someone to come down. Nonna needed to ask Brook another question. She released Brook from her arms sensing the latter had calmed down a bit.
"Итак, Брук, почему тебе так нравится "Катюша"?" Nonna asked Brook if there was some reason if she liked Katyusha. Katyusha was listening with curiosity. [So Brook, why do you like Katyusha so much?]
"Мне нравится Катюша, потому что она бесстрашный лидер. Кей просто заботится о вечеринках, в жизни есть что-то большее, чем пляжи и вечеринки. А как же победа, спрашиваю я, и она отвечает "нет". Катюша - лучший лидер, особенно когда я сидела на плечах Наоми и думала, что Катюша выше всех." Brook explained to Nonna why she seemed to look up to Katyusha as one that she wanted to be like. [I like Katyusha as she is a fearless leader. Kay just cares about parties which there is more to life than beaches and cookouts. What about winning I might ask and she says no to winning. Katyusha is the better leader especially when I was riding on Naomi's shoulders thinking Katyusha was above everyone else.]
"Вы восхищаетесь Катюшей?" Nonna asked Brook. Brook nodded yes as her response. Nonna gave a small smile and continued to speak. "Я уважаю то, что ты хочешь быть нашим лидером, даже если сейчас ты слишком высок. Может, ты станешь достаточно высоким, чтобы носить Катюшу на руках, как я." Nonna replied. Then the door opened. Nina wheeled herself into the room with a wheelchair she was sitting in. Her legs looked like they had been bandaged up. She was carrying a second hat on her lap. [You admire Katyusha huh? (One) I respect that you want to be our leader even if you are too tall at this point. Maybe you can be tall enough to carry Katyusha around like me. (Two)]
"Comrade Nina reporting for duty. I had to bring myself all the way here as Alina wasn't available." Nina reported as she wheeled over to Brook. "Katyusha will welcome everyone who is willing to befriend her and I think everyone in this school is willing to help you out. We take a lot of students in and try to help them out the best way we can. It's the reason why so many students are coming to Pravda as they feel more at home here." Nina explained in a chirpy voice. She wanted to try to help out those she could despite her own temporary limitations. Nonna turned to Nina.
"Nina, do you promise that you and Alina will help take care of this girl? I don't want to be take care of Brook and Katyusha at the same time." Nonna asked if she was fine if she could be lended a hand. Nina looked at her as if she was given a special task.
"Of course Nonna, that's what we are here for." Nina replied. She turned to Brook almost if she wanted to give her some advice. "Don't be upset for the past mistakes and what you have done. We're always here to talk to. We've all made mistakes and ended up paying for them but take one day at a time is what Nonna tells us." Nina lifted the ushanka from her lap as this was a special one. It was the color of Nina's hat but it was fitted with a red cross to tell who needed to be watched over like a patient for a doctor.
"Thanks Nina." Brook told Nina before lowering herself down for Nina to put the hat on her. Nina placed the ushanka onto her head. Brook was feeling a little better about herself, maybe these people were here to help her and they were going to welcome her into the family. Brook stood up as Nonna gave her one last hug.
"Welcome to the family of Pravda." Nonna told Brook. Katyusha and Nina were smiling as if they had welcomed a new person to live with them. The road of recovery was going to be a long one but every day counted going forward.
Well how was the story I will post? I wanted to make something regarding one of my Oc's plus with her birthday coming up this weekend, I might as well make some more Brook posts. I also tried my best to make the conversation similar to the Klara one though Klara isn't mentioned in this. On top of that Brook for much of her first year of Pravda (Second year overall) she isn't seen with her trademark twintails as she pretty much lets her hair be fluffy and run down to her shoulders. She regains the trademark from her third year onward.
Don't know how I wrote Nonna, I wanted her to at least be a comforting figure to Brook while being Katyusha's caretaker and one to help others if they fall onto hard times. Let me know if you want more of these?

2023.03.29 04:18 Neat_Madz1931 Help identifying fish disease and treatment
| So I’m relatively new to the hobby (about 1.5 years in) and have been having trouble lately with my fish’s health. I bought my tank second hand, and the Buenos Aires Tetras unintentionally came along with it. Idk anything about their life before they were in my care (age, sex, general health, etc.). I just finished a week long treatment of Tetra Lifeguard for what I believe I identified as fin rot, but a couple of them have been struggling with swollen/red gills, sometimes gasping, and one having bulging eyeballs, for a few weeks now. Besides these symptoms, their behaviour is totally normal, eating and swimming fine, etc. [Pictures 2+4] Today I noticed one of the fish with the swollen gills now also has this string-like object protruding from one side of the gills. Unsure if it may be a worm (parasite?) or maybe just a piece of food stuck because I had just finished giving them some Hikari Spirulina + Brine Shrimp and it kinda sorta almost looks like a brine shrimp? Maybe that’s just me being hopeful. I don’t think this is due to ammonia poisoning as my ammonia levels have been consistently below 10ppm for quite a while now. My best guess is Gill Hyperplasia, although I can’t seem to find effective ways to treat I as it is regarded as relatively unimprovable.Thoughts on what this may be? How should I treat it? [Pictures 1+2] I’ve also noticed one of my fish has had a white spot on the side of its mouth for maybe about 2 or 3 weeks. Today I noticed that this spot has now developed into a second patch on the other side of its mouth. It also now kinda looks a bit fuzzy, but it’s hard to tell. Is this cotton mouth? If not, what is it? How should I treat it? Once I figure out what it is and how to treat it I do plan on quarantining them as I’ve been struggling with my tank’s health for over a month now trying to get it back under control and am very much ready for it to become stable again. I’m going to place an Amazon order for a bunch of supplies soon as I live in Canada and cannot get antibiotics at my LFS, so recommendations about what meds/brands are the best would be highly appreciated! 2023.03.29 04:08 Scolipass The meta impacts of rotation
Disclaimer: This is a post examining how the current meta will be impacted by the upcoming rotation. It will NOT contain any opinions on how rotation is being implemented or if it'll be good for the game. Instead, it will contain a surface level comparison between each region's current decks and the tools being removed/added tomorrow in an attempt to speculate on what kinds of decks each region will have come tomorrow.
Bandle City:
Lulu Poppy Rumble Ziggs Aloof Travelers Arena Kingpin Arena Mechacaster Assistant Librarian Babbling Balladeers Bomber Twins Bouncing Bomb Cloud Stance Curious Shellfolk Double Tap Ember Monk Entrapment Event Horizon Fix-em-Uppers Flamespitter Friendship! Gruff Grenadier Gust Monk Heroic Charge Hexplosive Minefield Hidden Pathways Hothead Inventive Chemist Keeper’s Verdict Loping Telescope Mega Inferno Bomb Minion Mushroom Ring Papercraft Dragon Pokey Stick Pompous Cavalier Primal Strength Prowling Projectile Purpleberry Shake Quick Quill Rainbowfish Rissu, the Silent Storm Safety Inspector Scholarly Climber Shell Game Spirit Portal Stress Defense The Arsenal The Bandle Tree Thunder Fist Tornado Warrior Transposition Wizened Wizard Yordle Newbie Yordle Ranger Yordle Smith
The most relevant removals here are the 4 champions, Pokey Stick and most of the multi-region followers. Given that Taliyah Ziggs was one of BC's strongest decks, this is a pretty big blow. Darkness and various flavors of Norra Control should survive, but BC/Demacia style swarm decks appear to be struggling. I predict BC will continue to be niche in the upcoming meta, as they lost quite a lot and aren't really getting anything in return. They might be able to make something happen with Prize Fight in Bilgewater, but the loss of Pokey Stick removes a major incentive to try and force that.
Bilgewater:
Gangplank Tahm Kench Twisted Fate Abyssal Guard Black Market Merchant Bone Skewer Boxtopus Crusty Codger Double Up Fortune Croaker Golden Narwhal Hunting Fleet Jack, the Winner Jaull-Fish Loaded Dice Lost Riches Lounging Lizard Marai Songstress Mind Meld Monkey Idol Monster Harpoon Mystifiying Magician Pick a Card Pilfered Goods Pocket Aces Prowling Cutthroat Ripper’s Bay Ruined Rex Shakedown Sleight of Hand Smooth Soloist Strong-Arm Sunk Cost The Dreadway The List Wise Fry Ye Been Warned Yordle Grifter Zap Sprayfin
Bilgewater got off relatively lightly all things considered. The entire nab package is being shipped off, so value plunder is pretty off the table. They also lose Fortune Croaker + Zap Sprayfin, who made their way into virtually every BW deck to ensure they didn't run out of gas. That being said, they still have card draw in the form of Eye of Naga, they still have a large collection of extremely potent 1 drops like crackshot and jagged butcher, and their staples like Make it Rain and Mirai Warden are still very much intact. In addition to whatever Jack brings to the menu (I think pablo is gonna be real strong), pirate burn appears to be alive and well, despite Gangplank leaving. Deep and Lurk were mostly untouched.
Demacia
Fiora Lux Poppy Back to Back Brightsteel Formation Captain Arrika Cithria the Bold Concerted Strike Dragon Chow Egghead Researcher En Garde Field Promotion Gallant Rider Golden Aegis Greathorn Companion Laurent Bladekeeper Laurent Chevalier Laurent Protege Loyal Badgerbear Mageseeker Conservator Mageseeker Investigator Mageseeker Inciter Mageseeker Persuader Mobilize Molten Breath Petricite Stag Pompous Cavalier Radiant Guardian Radiant Strike Ranger’s Resolve Redoubled Valor Reinforcements Sharpsight Silverwing Diver Stalking Broodmother Stand Alone Succession Swiftwing Lancer The Grand Plaza Vanguard Bannerman Vanguard Firstblade Vanguard Lookout Vanguard Redeemer War Chefs Winds of War Yordle Ranger
Scouts actually got hit surprisingly hard this rotation, losing Concerted Strike, Ranger's Resolve, Yordle Ranger, and Golden Aegis. The loss of Aegis in particular will be felt across virtually every Demacia deck. Demacia's 3 drop slot also took a surprising number of hits, losing important options such as Vanguard Redeemer and Laurent Protege. While most of the dragon package remains intact, losing Dragon Chow will be deeply felt and pretty much single handedly kills off any hopes for SI dragons being good anytime soon (Targon dragons still have some hope though). Lux/Jayce is very dead, even if Jayce himself is doing fine. Last but not least, Demacia loses an important anti-burn card in Radiant Guardian, making them far more susceptible to just being burned out. Fortunately for Demacia players, Vayne with all her flexibility is still here, meaning Gwen Vayne, Aatrox Vayne, and more are all very much on the table. Elites got hit in the patch, but virtually their entire package is still right there and I don't see them going anywhere either. While they lost the easy tech answer to aggro decks, they should still be very strong in the upcoming meta.
Freijord
Anivia Braum Trundle Abominable Guardian Ancestral Boon Ancient Yeti Augur of the Old Ones Avarosan Marksman Avarosan Outriders Avarosan Sentry Babbling Bjerg Blighted Ravine Call the Wild Catalyst of Aeons Caught in the Cold Ember Maiden Entreat Faces of the Old Ones Feel the Rush Feral Mystic Gift of the Hearthblood Hearthblood Mender Iceborn Legacy It That Stares Kindly Tavernkeeper Pack Mentality Revitalizing Roar Rimefang Wolf Scarmaiden Reaver Scarmother Vrynna Scarthane Steffen Spirits Unleashed Stalking Wolf Take Heart Tarkaz the Tribeless The Howling Abyss The Scargrounds They Who Endure Troll Chant Troll Ravager Troll Scavenger Troop of Elnuks Unscarred Reaver Voices of the Old Ones Wyrding Stones
I'm gonna level with you, this one hurt to look through. Their easy in-region ramp payoffs in FTR and Anivia are very gone, but I'm not actually all that worried on that point, win conditions will be found. What's more concerning is that many of their strong board stabilization options are gone. Kindly Tavernkeeper, Hearthblood Mender, and Trundle are all key cards in ramp, control, and even some midrange decks to give the region a fighting chance against burn while they try to survive to their ramp payoff. These removals mean that Freijord goes from being a very important check to burn decks to honestly being rather vulnerable to burn, and given how strong burn traditionally has been in this game, that's very concerning. I'm willing to be proven wrong, but I think any sort of Freijord control/ramp gameplan is pretty dead now. On the bright side, frostbite midrange was essentially untouched, but I still fear that Freijord is about to become a rather 1 dimensional region starting tomorrow.
Ionia
Irelia Lee Sin Lulu Yasuo Blossoming Blade Charm Claws of the Dragon Dawn and Dusk Deep Meditation Defiant Dance Dragon’s Rage Emerald Awakener Eye of the Dragon Flower Child Fuzzy Caretaker Go Get It Greenglade Elder Greenglade Lookout Health Potion Homecoming Inspiring Mentor Jeweled Protector Ki Guardian Kinkou Lifeblade Kinkou Wayfinder Lead and Follow Memory’s Cloak Mushroom Ring Navori Highwayman Pix! Ribbon Dancer Ritual of Renewal Scattered Pod Shadow Flare Solitary Monk Sown Seeds Steel Tempest Storm of Blades The Mourned Twin Disciplines Vanguard’s Edge Whimsy! Windfarer Hatchling Windswept Hillock Yone, Windchaser Yusari Zephyr Sage Zinneia, Steel Crescendo
Ionia lost a lot of combo tools. Stuff like Eye of the Dragon and Deep Meditation leaving are going to be pretty substantial blows to the region. Blade Dance is completely gone, so no more azirelia. Yasuo rally is also gone. It's a good thing Sett's getting added, otherwise I'm not sure what the region would have going for it outside of elusive aggro. On the bright side, most of the region's control tools like Will of Ionia and Deny are very intact, so splashing it into other control regions to enable their wincons is just as strong as it was before.
Targon:
Aphelios Soraka Taric Zoe Against the Odds Arbiter of the Peak Battle Bonds Blessing of Targon Crystal Ibex Earth Elemental Fledgling Stellacorn Freed Colossus Frightened Ibex Giddy Sparkleogist Gift Giver Gifts from Beyond Ground Slam Loping Telescope Mentor of the Stones Messenger’s Sigil Mountain Goat Mountain Scryer Mountain Sojourners Out of the Way Paddle Star Rockfall Path Scholarly Climber Shards of the Mountain Sleepy Trouble Bubble Sneaky Zeebles Spacey Sketcher Sparklefly Spell Thief Spring Guardian Star Shepherd Star Spring Starbone Stargazer Starlit Epiphany Starry Scamp Startipped Peak Supercool Starchart Targon’s Peak The Fangs The Flight The Sky Shadows The Veiled Temple Wish
RIP Da Fangs. Ok on a more serious note, the big losses here are Zoe + Aphelios, two champions that made up the backbone of countless Targon Value decks, and Mountain Goat, a surprisingly critical card in Fated decks. On one hand, the excellent Daybreak package was untouched, so Targon still has an excellent midrange deck to stomp around with. Dragons could potentially make a comeback, especially with Targon being one of the few remaining regions with strong anti-burn cards to slot in. While The Winding Light has largely taken back seat to Demacia's Champion Strength in terms of "Big midrange wincon", the card is still there for folks who want to experiment with midrange outside of Demacia.
Noxus
Draven Katarina Rumble Vladimir Arachnoid Host Arachnoid Sentry Arena Bookie Arena Kingpin Arena Mechacaster Arrel the Tracker Battering Ram Black Rose Spy Blade’s Edge Blood for Blood Captive Yeti Crimson Aristocrat Crimson Awakener Crimson Bloodletter Crimson Curator Crimson Disciple Crowd Favorite Culling Strike Death Lotus Death’s Hand Decimate Draven’s Biggest Fan House Spider Hunt the Weak Legion Grenadier Legion Rearguard Legion Veteran Legionary Charge Mimic Noxian Guillotine Ravenous Flock Ruined Reckoner Shiraza the Blade Shrieking Spinner Shunpo Sigil of Malice Survival Skills Thorn of the Rose Thrashing Snapper Whispered Words Wild Claws
Noxus is a strange case. It feels like they got hit hard and not hard at the same time. Swain control decks are going to be extremely sad with the loss of Ravenous Flock, and a pretty wide variety of decks are going to miss Wispered Words, House Spider and Legion Grenadier. Burn decks will finally be forced to cut Decimate, and the loss of Rearguard is going to incentivize them into Bilgewater even more than before. That being said, Noxian burn still feels pretty intact? They're getting an excellent plunder package, Crimson Pigeon is still
terrifying, imperial demolitionist and saboteur still push the damage, it feels like most of what's being lost are midrange to control tools. The loss of flock does make it particularly difficult to level up Swain in region though. I recommend players still looking to use him to either look at PnZ and try to force control to work or to look at strike spells like Brutal Skirmish or Prize Fight.
PnZ:
Ezreal Vi Viktor Academy Prodigy Aloof Travelers Amateur Aeronaut Ambush Assembly Bot Astute Academic Ballistic Bot Bandle Painter Boomcrew Rookie Calculated Creations Caustic Cask Chempunk Pickpocket Chempunk Shredder Concurrent Timelines Counterfeit Copies Coup de Grace Death Ray – MK 1 Defective Swapbot Eager Apprentice Eminent Benefactor Fallen Feline Fanclub President Flash of Brilliance Get Excited! Sumpsnipe Scavenger The University of Piltover Thermogenic Beam Trail of Evidence Tri-Beam Improbulator Unlicensed Innovation Unstable Voltician Used Cask Salesman Vault Breaker Volunteer Elnuk
I found the burn nerfs guys, looks like they were just concentrated almost
entirely in PnZ. Get Excited, Boomcrew Rookie, Cask Salesman, pretty much all the classic PnZ burn cards save for Jynx herself are getting rotated out. I'm not sure what the logic of this was, imo PnZ has been the weakest of the 3 "burn" regions for a long while and this rotation cements that. Obviously an entire archetype is going away in the form of Ezreal combo. Control got off lighter, but the loss of Static Shock and Thermo Beam are definitely going to be felt. Jayce Heimer should survive, but I'm not seeing a whole lot else here in the region. Darkin Harp + Vayne might also be able to live without Vi, but at that point it's less a PnZ deck and more a Demacia deck that splashes one or two PnZ spells. At least Ekko might finally be able to branch out of Shurima (clearly we should run him in Bilgewater so that Ekko can predict off of Prize Fights).
Shadow Isles
Elise Hecarim Kindred Thresh Absorb Soul Ancient Crocolith Arachnoid Horror Astral Fox Atrocity Blighted Caretaker Brood Awakening Crawling Sensation Cursed Keeper Doombeast Fading Memories Frenzied Skitterer Fresh Offerings Gluttony Go Hard Hapless Aristocrat Haunted Relic Iron Harbinger Lamb’s Respite Minion Mistkeepers Mistwraith Neverglade Collector Oblivious Islander Onslaught of Shadows Pesky Specter Phantom Prankster Possession Ravenous Butcher Risen Mists Shroud of Darkness Song of the Isles Soul Sheperd Soulspinner Spectral Matron Splinter Soul Stirred Spirits Stygian Onlooker The Box The Twisted Treeline Thorny Toad Tortured Prodigy Unspeakable Horror Unto Dusk Vile Feast Withering Mist Withering Wail Wraithcaller
I will never understand why Kindred had to go. Anyway, the three big headlines here are spiders are extremely dead, ephemeral burn is dead (and with that ephemerals as an archetype most likely), and Vile Feast is going to drastically weaken the aggro matchup of any SI control deck. Fortunately(?) Hallowed was almost literally untouched, so most of your favorite Gwen decks should still be on the menu (Red Gwen losing Kat will def sting, but I doubt the deck is dead). As mentioned earlier, if any control deck can survive the loss of Vile Feat, it'll likely be Darkness. Blighted Caretaker, Ravenous Butcher and Cursed Keeper leaving pretty much kills any sort of slay midrange ideas, as you can no longer do the "SI Special" of Barkbeast into Keeper into either Caretaker or Butcher to instantly create a massively threatening board that heavily swings the game into your favor. Atrocity leaving doesn't help that either. Viego is still here, even if his primary wincon of Atrocity is gone. Depending on where the meta goes there might still be a home for Viego control.
Shurima:
Sivir Xerath Ziggs Zilean Acolyte’s Reliquary Bomber Twins Boomerang Blade Callous Bonecrusher Careful Preparation Chronoshift Construct of Desolation Desert’s Wrath Endless Devout Herald of the Magus Hothead Imagined Possibilities Inner Sanctum Payday Preservarium Preservationist Profiteer Raz Bloodmane Ricochet Risen Altar Rite of Calling Rite of Passage Rite of the Arcane Ruin Runner Ruinous Acolyte Ruinous Path Sai Scout Sanctum Conservator Sandseer Shaped Stone Spirit Fire Stoneweaving The Absolver The Time Has Come Thrumming Swarm Treasure Seeker Unleashed Energy Unraveled Earth Unworthy Waste Walker
Man almost every Shurima archetype got hit here. Shurima Girls is gone with Sivir and Ruin Runner. Acolytes are dead and buried. Sun Disk
probably returns to meme tier without Xerath (won't stop me from trying though). Preservium leaving is going to hit a lot of decks, and Taliyah in particular got utterly pummeled this rotation. She lost Ziggs, Herald of the Magus, Endless Devout, and even Shaped Stone. I'm not calling the gal dead, but if she
does manage to hang on, I'll be impressed. Even Akshan managed to get hit with Absolver getting removed. If I had to find a silver lining here, it's that Azir got some neat support this expansion and Akshan isn't gone gone. That being said, I don't see too many obvious routes for Shruima to go. Maybe Prize Fight Renekton? (I really like Prize Fight, can you tell I really like Prize Fight?)
Anyway, that's all I really got today. Bilgewater appears to be the obvious winner of this rotation and expansion, with Demacia and Noxus getting through relatively unscathed. The rest of the regions got hit pretty hard and don't have obvious directions to go post-patch. Freijord in particular is really struggling, even more than it was in the previous meta. Anyway that's all I got, night folks.

2023.03.29 03:49 flymasonry fly fishing around ocean city
I'm a grown and bred inner maryland gunpowder river freshwater fly fisher and I just moved to west ocean city for work. I really want to get into saltwater fly fishing and already know what setup I'm gonna order soon but I just want to try to crowdsource some good spots or tips around here. Ilse of Wight looks like it has insane spots and bayside of assateague seems promising. Really want to try and target stripers and flounder as they move through this spring. Where should I go? What should I throw? Etc, I'll take anything people are willing to send my way.
Also, it seems like ocean city and the surrounding towns are pretty empty of fly shops, where can I find the closest one? And do any general tackle stores around here sell any fly fishing materials?
