Sunnydaze solar fountain water pump kit

Anyone care to share link maybe of where they got their drying module?

2023.03.29 08:33 Henry0225 Anyone care to share link maybe of where they got their drying module?

Hey guys, so when I bought my first s7mVU the drying module was also in stock. So got both. Fast forward a few months and I ordered a 2nd robot (also S7MVU) but module is OOS. And has been since then. I was thinking of actually hooking up to the water line and drain line of my washing machine for my 1st floor robot, so I’d like to get the Chinese variant since I read that the water pump for that kit plugs into the drying module itself that only the Chinese variant has. Can anyone be kind enough to share the link to the drying modules they got? I went on alliexpress after seeing many share how the ones they got are original, just Chinese. But no one shares link. I went to Ali website and there’s a lot listed with varying prices. Don’t want to get a knock off so yeah. (Feel free to dm link of for someone reason Reddit/admins don’t allow links)
Thanks :)

2023.03.29 05:14 High_Stream I got to test out the Quell Impact at the Game Developer's Conference and here are my thoughts

For those who don't know, the Quell Impact is a new boxing based fitness gaming peripheral that has been in development for a few years. It features resistance bands and haptic feedback. The first game Quell is releasing for the Impact is called ShardFall, where you run around a fantasy world and punch monsters. Check out their website here.
Anyways, I've been following their Discord ever since their first Kickstarter a few years ago, and through them was able to win free tickets to the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco last week. Then I got to try a seven minute demo that included several different enemies. As far as they know, I'm the first Kickstarter supporter to test the game out. Here are my thoughts:
The Good:
- The game can tell whether you're throwing a jab/straight, hook, or uppercut. Some enemies only take damage if you hit them on their weak part.
- It's an incredible workout. I run 5k and do upper-body workouts on alternate days. 7 minutes on this thing knocked me out. With the running and punching, it felt like a twice as long workout on Fitness Boxing, or like I was sprinting for that long. The resistance bands make it even harder.
- You don't need a VR kit to play it, you can run it on a normal Windows computer.
- I got a free swag bag with a towel and water bottle.
The Bad:
- It was picking up punches I wasn't throwing. They told me that they had the sensitivity up for other testers. We figured that since I keep my guard up and rotate my shoulders when I punch, it was registering the motion of my guard hand as throwing a punch. They said that they are working on machine learning to learn what is and isn't a punch. I also assume that there will be a sensitivity setting I can reduce.
- Steering your path while running was hard to control. You have to press the trigger buttons to steer, and I kept running into things. That will probably get easier to control with practice, and they said they're trying other methods of control. It must be tricky to control when you have to use hands that are pumping while running.
Conclusion: I'm looking forward to getting the game I ordered almost three years ago. At least I'm glad that the game actually exists.

2023.03.29 04:32 DizzeeAmoeba A Perfect Day For Trucking

CHAPTER 1: PRETRIP
I wake up to the feeling of the sun shining on my bare naked ass and I can already tell it’s going to be a beautiful day trucking.
The sun was shining through the windshield - no time to draw the black out curtains, that would only slow me down. You see I am a trucker. The road is my religion, dispatch is my retarded shepherd and the odometer is my God.
I throw on yesterday‘s sweat pants. Who am I kidding– these are last weeks sweatpants. These ones come with extra condiments.
Listen buddy, washing them would only slow me down, and I am a trucker, shackled to the pounding clock of the D.O.T. in unholy matrimony.
I slide out of the driver seat to the Diesel soaked lane and allow my knees to take an extra second to decide if they will catch the 300 pounds of cargo that is my body (bout 130 overweight on the scales. That’s a violation!! heh heh heh) With some goading they agree to punch in for another day, for now.
I wipe my nose on my hands and it is disgusting. I punch in my fuel code and throw the pumps into the tanks as I head inside to flying J to buy breakfast lunch and dinner all at once. Who has time to cook!?
”Welcome to Lov-“
But i barely hear it. Other people are a mere ambiance to my grizzled soliloquy and their cries fade to the background of my experience as I recite into my Blue Parrott Bluetooth headset.
“… and they gave me escort cars I’m tellin’ yuh unmarked National Guard two in the back and one in the front. I was haulin’ military cargo yuh see? But no placards so them stupid 4 wheelers wouldn’t know what I was carrying. Real top secret had to get a special clearance and everything. They got me on file now. Tarped and chained it myself. This bad boy wasn’t going nowhere I tell yuh. Had to drive the route in reverse as well, for security purposes. Floatin’ gears all through the Appalachians. Took home bout 14k off that run alone. Of course i dont do this for the money I could come off the road anytime…”
I snapped out of the trance of reminiscing and realized I was finished dropping a dirty little trailer of my own. Unloaded that faster than most receivers and didn’t even have a forklift.
In princely fashion I rose from the throne and tied my pants closed. I turned around and briefly admired my work and thought to myself “that bad boy ain’t going nowhere“ I turned back around and walked broadly, slowly, out of the restroom. Alpha.
I pull out an extra large fountain drink cup with the deftness of a gun slinger when the bell tolls. A true samurai knows his sword by the weight of the hilt alone.
Push Click Cherry Dr Pepper. No ice. That’s just bullshit water.
I Pivot like a rusty merry go round to the roller grill. The glizzies glisten gleefully as I savour the moment. Of course the freshest is in the back so my hands skip past the eager calls of the dogs at the front and flip over a few caught in Sisyphean rotation at the back until I find one with the perfect tenderness. I grab a tacquito and mash it hard into the bun before placing the hotdog on top to conceal my secret agenda. “Breakfast and lunch … heh heh heh “ Smirking to myself as I fumble with the drink lids and drop a few, and break a few. I finally manage to get one on the cup of sweet syrup.
I hobble for the cashier like a broken wheelbarrow and maintain unbroken eye contact (of course they don’t see behind these polarized aviators but they fan feel it. I just know.) .
“Just the usual, darlin”
She hands me a tin of Grizzly Natural Fine Cut and my gums are already tickled at the thought of packin’ a fat lipper.
“You wanna use your points for that stuff?”
She gestures to my wiener.
“Darlin’, if I keeps spending these points how’my ever s’posed to be affordin’ you dinner with me?”
She’s heard it before but it’s so funny she laughs at the quip yet again.
“Third divorce is a charm honey, let me know” But she’s already turned her back to fixin’ up the shelves. “Oh well maybe next time…”
I crack the tin and head for the door as I pack a fat one into my maw.
“Breakfast, lunch….and dinner. Hmmh hmh hmh.”
Looking to my rig I see a decent line up of idiots behind me. Fueling seems to be done. Looks like She’s ready to roll…..

2023.03.28 23:47 jlcsanyi Skimmer issue—bad pump or bad plumbing?

Skimmer issue—bad pump or bad plumbing?
So please ignore the paver stone in the skimmer, I chucked that in there purely to keep it from popping out of the water while it’s having this issue which makes a lot of noise.
I’m still fairly new to the whole pond thing, my husband and I bought this house a year ago which came with the pond and all all the fish and equipment. We have always had issues with this Oase skimmer. It will periodically pop out of the water and start sucking straight air which is super loud. Over the winter the pvc pipe that runs under the deck from the skimmer and pump burst so I’ve had to replace it recently.
The skimmer connects to a submersible pump which then runs under the deck, winds back around, and disappears back under the deck (I’ll attach a photo of the wonky plumbing in the comments) where it somehow feeds a fountain in the back corner of the pond—now, I have no idea where or how it connects because the folks that built this house thought it would be a great idea to built the deck around and on top of the pond and all of its equipment so other than what’s under the deck I can’t get to it without tearing up my deck which I’m not keen to do, especially not on my own.
Whenever the skimmer acts like it does in the video I can see in the tubing that it looks like the water just stops? And there will be a big bubble in the tubing that will slowly move and then shoot through and it will start running again.
Would this be more likely due to the pump connected to the skimmer trying to die or would it be more likely that one of the two air release valves in the plumbing under the deck is messing up?

2023.03.28 22:05 Warm-Giraffe-7704 What am I doing wrong?

Ive had two bettas die over the course of the last few months. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I have a six gallon tank, a water heater and pump, don’t over-feed. I bought a “check your water” kit and it said my pH was a little high, but all other parameters were good. I’m really upset about this. Any idea what could be going wrong??

2023.03.28 21:05 BallisticB00m Bmw e92 has no ABS/TC after ECU replacement

Hi, my 2007 E92 325i ABS and traction control does not work ever since i changed my ECU due to my old one being water damaged.
The car has been though a lot since i bought it 8 months ago and i have barely driven it 200 miles. Below is a timeline of what this car has been though with ECU's. I dont expect everyone to read it all as its boring as heck, but if you do i highly appreciate it.
There's sometimes long gaps between things this was usually because it was at a garage or i was away or because i just gave up on it.
I live in the UK so some things may be different from NA or the rest of the world FYI.
Any further questions you have please ask away.
BMW Issues Timeline
16th July 2022 - Bought the Car, everything worked fine, drove fine, no lights on dash. Previous owner had great service history and seem to really care about it. Perfect…
6th August 2022 - went to go start after leaving it sitting since buying it, car would crank but not start. I tried charging the battery, nothing. I bought a new battery and still nothing. Not Perfect.
11th August 2022 - got it diagnosed by an "auto-electrician" (who was crap) who said the ECU is toast due to water damage. Tbf i did see him take out the ECU and it was rotten so i believed him.
18th August 2022 - bought a used ECU,key and CAS unit set off ebay and got it installed by the same auto-electrician who advised me to buy this "set", no coding was done to the car what so ever. Car then ran and drove however its millage was incorrect and it also read warning lights which the guy couldn't clear as he "forgot his diagnostic kit" (ikr major red flag).
20th August 2022 - went to a local garage to try clear the codes, they didn't manage to clear them however did allow me to record the codes which reads as follows. (Make note of the first 2 they appear later)
Antilock Brakes (ABS/ASC/DSC) - Codes - 3 5DD2 - "Inlet Valve Calibration Data Fail" 5DD0 - "Valve Calibration Data Fail" 5E1F - "Powertrain CAN Chasis Number Wrong/ECU not initialized"
22nd August 2022 - Left the car parked up as i went on holiday
1st September 2022 - Returned from holiday, car would crank but not start.
13th September 2022 - Got the car towed to an independent BMW "Specialist"
12th October 2022 - Towed the car back to my house as the "BMW Specialist" couldn't fix it after trying multiple different ECU's and trying to code them from my CAS unit, told me i should take it to a BMW main dealer or its maybe something wrong with the wiring. This place never charged me and i heard great reviews about them however their communication was poor and thought they weren't the most professional, also an entire month and still didn't do anything wtf.
20th October 2022 - Towed the car to a work friends private garage who is an retired mechanic, i work abroad in the winter so needed it to be stored somewhere plus he wanted to try and mess with it.
22nd October 2022 - sent my original damaged ECU to a company that claimed it can either A fix the ECU or B take the data from the ECU and put it onto a new one.
25th October 2022 - company came back saying they couldn't take any data from the ECU as it was too damaged and wasn't able to help.
3rd November 2022 - Bought one last used ECU and got it sent off along with the original cas unit to a company that re-codes ECU to match with the original cas unit since my original ECU was toast.
11th November 2022 - ECU came back after it was re-coded, plugged it in and the car would as ever crank but not start.
17th November 2022 - Got another Auto-electrician to come and he charged me £40 to tell me he didn't know and there was no communication with the ECU. At this point i was pissed off and was going to just try and scrap or sell the car for spares before i went away for the winter, however my work friend talked me out of it and said he will store it over winter for me and then see what he can do. (He was quite determined and had nothing else to do lol)
28th November 2022 - 5 days before i was set to go away, my friend called me to say he got it running. How? There was a green 30amp fuse in the ECU box that had blown he had simply replaced it and she started up. The millage was correct and it was running fine. However there was still a brake light an ABS light and a traction control light on. Since i was going soon i never went over to check on the car and he said he would still store it over the winter for me.
17th march 2023 - I returned back home and went to pick up the car, the car still started and ran fine however the lights were still on. I drove it home and it drove perfect.
21st March 2023 - took the car down to my local garage to read the codes. They read as follows
5DD2 - "Inlet Valve Calibration Data Fail" 5DD0 - "Valve Calibration Data Fail"
The same codes as before, all the way back in August, however the code for "ECU not initialized" was no longer present (phew). The ABS and Traction control does not work at all. I have checked all fuses, all are good.
25th March 2023 - i got another (yes another) Auto-electrician down to see if he could do anything he told me the car needs to be properly set up with the ecu as he cant "established a connection with the ECU". Told me to go to main dealer.
My cousin who is an mechanic for mercedes F1 team(way smarter than me) thinks the ABS module wants to be recalibrated. However the auto-electrician guy couldn't even view the codes let alone get in to re-calibrate anything. But my local garage could view the codes but said they couldn't go any further as it was out of their area of expertise.
I believe initially when the original water damaged ECU was taken out and the "ECU kit" or whatever you call it was plugged in it started to cause issues with ABS and traction control. And then when the car wouldn't start again after i was on holiday it was due to the blown fuse. However what i dont understand is how to clear or recalibrate the ABS system to get ABS and traction control working again. I also don't understand why my local garage could connect to the ECU but the auto-electrician guy couldn't.
Since the guy came on Saturday the car still starts and drives. However the lights never disappear. And also a check engine light has appeared since, im not sure what its about as I haven't had the time to get it read. I have checked all the ABS sensors, they seem fine. I have also checked for fluid leaks, there isnt any. And the brake pedal feels normal (not too stiff).
I believe it's something electrical and not the ABS pump. But honestly im pretty stumped what to do next. I know this post is ridiculously long and i haven't written this much since my school exams but im really at a lost with this car and would love any bit of knowledge anyone can provide. Thanks.

2023.03.28 20:26 LIS1050010 Do You Have the Skills You Need to Survive a Depression?

Do you think you have the skills to survive a Depression?
Let’s face it. We may say we’re preparing for winter blizzards or freak hurricanes, but down deep, if you’re a prepper, what you’re really preparing for is a collapse of America’s economy. It may happen within a few days, or it may be a continual downward slide over many years. Its causes may include numerous Katrina-size natural disasters, a toppling federal government, chaos on Main Street, and the odd meteor or two.
Regardless of the causes, we want our families to be as secure as possible for the long haul.
So, the question that naturally arises is: How do you prepare for a Greatest Depression? Is it even possible to prepare for something that may last a decade or much, much longer? Is it better to be a homeowner, even if someday you’re unable to make your mortgage payments, or is it better to have mobility and rent? Should you leave your life savings and retirement funds where they are or take the tax and penalty hit and invest in land, or gold, or a year’s worth of food?
While there are no definitive answers to these questions, you can take stock of your level of preparedness, see where the gaps are, and work to fill them.

Assess Your Depression Survival Skills

Let’s begin by evaluating your skills that would help you survive a depression. Answer yes or no to the following questions:

Easy skills level:

  1. Do you know how to sew on a button?
  2. Do you know how to use an oil lamp?
  3. Do you know how to boil an egg?
  4. Do you know how to ride a bike?
  5. Do you know how to keep houseplants alive?
If you answered yes to all five, move on to the next level.

Medium skills level:

  1. Do you know how to cut up a whole chicken?
  2. Do you know how to hem or fix a rip in clothing?
  3. Do you have a stocked first aid kit in your home?
  4. Do you know how to build and maintain a fire?
  5. Do you know how to cook and season dried beans?
If you answered yes to any of the five, move on to the next level.

Hard skills level:

  1. Do you know how to grow your own vegetables?
  2. Do you know how to use a pattern and sew your own clothes?
  3. Do you know how to can fruits and vegetables?
  4. Do you know how to start a fire without matches?
  5. Do you know how to raise chickens?
  6. Do you have a fully prepared emergency kit in your home?
  7. Do you own and know how to use a gun?
  8. Do you or someone in the home know how to fish and hunt?
  9. Do you have a well-stocked pantry?
  10. Do you know how to make a quilt?
  11. Do you know how to bake bread from scratch?
  12. Do you know CPR and basic first aid skills?
  13. Do you have the physical ability to ride a bike?
  14. Do you know how to purify water for drinking?
  15. Do you know how to cook in a dutch oven with charcoal?

If you answered yes to all in this level, congratulations! You will survive.
If you passed the easy and medium levels but failed the hard level, not to worry. You are teachable. A Boy Scout learns 99% of these depression survival skills! Select a skill to learn, make a plan, and then work the plan! Rinse and repeat.
Now, let’s consider a question.

Readers Respond: How Should We Prepare for a Greatest Depression?

If we could talk with survivors of the first Great Depression and ask them, “If you could go back to 1925, how would you have prepared for the Great Depression,” I wonder what they would say.
We’re preparing for something on a worldwide scale, so I asked Survival Mom readers this question: How should we prepare for a Greatest Depression? Here is a curated selection of those responses.

2023.03.28 19:06 mexikin Is my pool pump too much for my pool?

I have had my Multiport Valve to my sand filter crack twice in the last 4 years. I have noticed that the PSI on my sand filter runs at 28 after backwash (it has always run at this PSI since I had the pool built) and I usually wait till it gets to 30 before doing a backwash. My setup is that from the pump it goes to the sand filter and from there to my solar panels then returns to pool.
My pool has 22,084 gallons of water. I run my pool 8 hours a day. So, by my calculations. I divide 22,084 / 8 that gives me 2,762.5 gallons per hour. So, then I divide 2,762.5 by 60 and it gives me 46 gallons per minute. So by those calculations I think I need a pool pump that gives me 46 GPM. My current pool pump is Hayward Super II 2 Inch that is giving me 80 GPM.
So do you guys think that my Multiport Valve cracks because my pool pump is too much for my pool? Should I replace my pool pump for a smaller one?
Equipment that I have: Hayward Super II Pipe Size 2" GPM 80 Sand filter: Hayward SwimPro 31°
I can’t ask the person that did the installation because he passed away from covid. I appreciate any advice.
