I know that profiteering on people's problems is bad, but nowadays it's very common to actively cause problems to solve being as a marketing strategy.
See big pharma, or the car industry lobbying for unwalkable cities, food industry making unhealthy food be addictive.
And considering the lack of options that people have, there are no alternatives but to be abused.
Very similarly are the PUA's and redpill coaches, that since there is no one else providing what these men need, those guys can milk these guys dry, and no one else is willing to help them with the problems they face, that is either getting laid, or finding a girlfriend usually.
Similar to how we have like 4 relevant car brands, and we don't know enough about meds to (get a different one, often times the different ones are owned by the same people LOL), what i am trying to say is that since people aren't actually trying to help, they become unwilling victims of scammers, and still don't get what they want, and 99% can't get the knowledge or skills needed on their own, they need help.
It is really a sad and abusive reality, that i feel victim of as a man, and don't really know a way out.

They cause so many problems in fandoms but solo stans are so funny sometimes in their quest to make their fave the most victimized person in the group and maybe the entire planet. You’ll see them making up problems and straight up ignoring information from the idol themselves (ex. BTS Jungkook solos ignoring the fact that he just wants to chill in his house and acting like Bang PD locked him in there and banned him from his studio so he can’t make music 😔). I’ve seen them email the company over issues like hair length and say their fave is being forced into this hair style and it’s causing them distress! none of the other members are oppressed this way!
I recently saw a TXT HueningKai solo stan claim he was bullied by the other TXT members since debut, which is probably the funniest TXT bullying rumor you could make up given that all the members are varying levels of obsessed with him 😭 i’m kind of obsessed with how these solos can make up stuff with no basis in reality lol. Although they’re annoying, once you take a step back whatever they’re saying is usually hilarious (as long as it’s not vicious hatred directed at the members of course!)

I haven't been able to find anything about this, and the WebAssembly JavaScript Interface doesn't mention anything about it, so it sounds like it's not possible.
Given this function:

I suppose functions that need a boolean value can do a little logic to convert it. TypeScript declarations may be weird - they would all be : number
How do people normally handle boolean data types when doing wasm/js interop?

I was slightly underwhelmed with the gameplay reveal until I realized that the ascend ability implies that that there will be large underground dungeons. I initially thought the ascend ability was a really strange inclusion; why give the player such a powerful ability that could negate climbing which was a focus of BotW? However, I think Ascend's main use will not be for climbing in the overworld.
Instead, I think Ascend's main use will be for exiting underground dungeons. These dungeons will be more like classic DnD dungeons where the player will progress by traveling further and further underground.
I think the reason why BotW lacks complex underground / indoor areas is because it goes against the game's design philosophy of player freedom; locking the player in a series of self contained rooms until they finish the dungeon would limit the player's agency in deciding where to go. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I think this is what Nintendo were thinking. They've expressed this sort of philisophy in their GDC talks about BotW.
Ascend allows the player to "bail out" of a dungeon whenever they want; upon completion or partway through (all without seeing a loading screen) which maintains player agency. Essentially, the devs can now have their freedom cake and eat it too. They now have the freedom to make HUGE underground areas that can restrict the player for long stretches of time and gate progress behind specific gameplay challenges, but the player can also decide to leave on a whim without using fast travel so they still feel like they are actually traversing the world.
I'm guessing many, if not most of the sky islands are hollow and have dungeon-like areas inside them. You'll enter them from an entrance on the top surface of the island and progress further and further down while solving puzzles and trying to stay alive with the limited resources you've crafted and brought with you. Once you get to the end of the dungeon, you'll get some sort of reward, then exit back to the surface of the island with Ascend.
There are probably tons of underground areas on the surface of Hyrule in addition to the caves that they've shown in the previous trailers. I was initially against the idea of reusing BotW's map, but I think I know what Nintendo is doing now, and I'm pretty excited for it: the old map is functionally just a hub world for all the dungeon content above AND below it.

Everything was setted and everything went wrong, the only and absolute problem is that I can't understand the speed of the RA Motor because I have only a little knob to increase it or slow it. I'm not so good with the mod of objects, beacuse I saw a lot of tutorial about modding the motor to have a sort of "help", so I hope that someone had my same problem and solve it in a different way.. This is why Makiel is willing to take huge risks to try and make sure Ozriel is killed by Daruman. Because the reaper division would be a success if he cannot interfere with it.
What I think will happen in the fight is that Ozriel lives and either kills Makiel or has him stripped of his mantle. Then he starts a new reaper division. Suriel either dies or almost dies. In a capstone character development for Ozriel he finally gains some ability to heal and maybe saves her.

You might think that there is only one numogram, the Numogram, created in a joint collaboration between the CCRU and glass-grade methamphetamine. No longer! With this incredibly unhelpful toolkit, you too can become A Genius™ by assigning arbitrary meanings to the single-digit numbers in a given base system!
Numogram construction theory

Why did I use the Numogram from the cover of the book? Well, most of the versions of this diagram are actually incorrect! Because of a reliance on a certain blurry image to recreate the Numogram, and an ignorance of its stated structure, the 15 at the top is often mistakenly rendered as a 16, and the small 3 is often mistakenly rendered as an 8. This version of the diagram is the correct one.
So, how is this diagram structured? Well, firstly, it relies on base-10, the most popular number system on Earth. Does it need to? No. But it does. The large circles are paired based on syzygy, the Genius™ way of saying that the sum to the highest single-digit number in the base used, which is always the base-number (in this case, 10) minus one - so, each pair sums to 9 here. The large dark arrows create the major flow of the diagram, and point at whatever number is the difference between the pair. (Ex, 9-0=9, so the arrow goes from 0 and 9 to 9, while 5-4=1, so the arrow goes from 5 and 4 to 1) Lastly, the minor, smaller circles contain the first nine triangular numbers. They start at whichever major number is the index of that triangular number (ex, 45 is the 9th triangular number, so 45 originates from 9) and flow toward whichever number is the sum of the integers of that triangular number (ex, 28 becomes 2+8=10, and 10 becomes 1+0=1, so 28 flows into 1).
Now that we know the rules of constructing the base-10 Numogram, we can add a few more rules to create infinitely many arbitrary Numograms, for maximum Genius™. Firstly, we can only pick even bases. This is so that are no self-pairing numbers (something the CCRU explicitly derides) when we create the syzygy pairs. Secondly, the integer sums must be performed within the base used, to prevent arbitrary nonsense diagrams. (Ex, the 9th triangular number is 45 base-10, but 39 in base-12, and 33 in base-14, and 2d in base-16, etc. 4+5=9 in base-10, 3+9=10 in base-12, 3+3=6 in base-14, 2+d=f in base-16, etc.)
Example
Now that you know how to create your own arbitrary base-N Numogram, let's look at an example:

As you can see, this diagram follows the same rules as the base-10 Numogram, but for base-12. It has all the single-digit numbers that exist in base-12 (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b) and uses base-12 sums for the triangular numbers (the 8th triangular number is 36 in base-10, and thus flows from 8 to 3+6=9, but the 8th triangular number is 30 in base-12, and thus flows to 3+0=3).
What can we learn from this example?
Note that the base-12 and base-10 Numograms share some structural features that correspond to CCRU-occultism. In the base-10 Numogram, the 0:9 pair and the 3:6 pair both lie outside of the major flows of the time-circuit. The 0:9 pair forms the Plex-region of the base-10 Numogram, while the 3:6 pair forms the Warp-region. The three remaining pairs, subject the normal major flows of time, are said to form the Torque-region. The base-12 Numogram, we see that major time flows come from 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and a, but never go into them. Likewise, we see that the 0:b pair forms a unidirectional self-consuming flow of time, much like the 0:9 and 3:6 pairs of the base-10 Numogram. Lastly, we can note that 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and b all have major time flows both entering and exiting them.
The correspondences in number flows between the base-10 and base-12 Numograms create a situation which contains both concepts congruent with CCRU-occultism and concepts which run their own way. In the Base-12 Numogram, the Plex region (0:9) and Warp region (3:6) are combined into a single Plexwarp region (0:b), which is the only self-consuming unidirectional flow of time in the base-12 Numogram. A new region presents itself, however, in the form of the five outer even-numbered regions, which produce a time-flow but never absorb one. This region, composed of even-numbered halves of syzygy-pairs, is the "archetypal" realm, in occult parlance, while the inner five odd numbers paired with them form the "Torque-region" of this Numogram, the time-circuit for base-12. The association of planets and zones in the CCRU base-10 Numogram can be paralleled with an association between zodiac signs and the zones of the base-12 Numogram.
Totally outside of the purview of CCRU-occultism, we can note that the flows of the 10 non-Plexwarp syzygy-pairs resembles the creative flows of the Wuxing), where each of the pairs a:1, 9:2, 8:3, 7:4, and 6:5 correspond to a Chinese element, while the 0:b pair corresponds to Taiji.
A few structural similarities and differences of note between the Base-10 and Base-12 Numograms regard the minor flows. In the Base-10 Numogram, the minor flows enter the Plex and Warp regions from the Torque, but never enter the Torque from the Plex or Warp. This makes them somewhat akin to whirlpools with their own smaller time-circuits than regions beyond time, as the CCRU describes them. In the Base-12 Numogram, the Plexwarp region almost takes this form, with minor flows entering from the Archetypal, but never entering it, but it does not take the same form, since the Archetypal is not the Torque, and the Torque is present in both the Base-10 and Base-12 Numograms. The Archetypal both produces and receives minor flows, making it somewhat distinct from the Plex or Warp of the Base-10 Numogram. There are two "entry" points in the diagram based on these minor flows, these being the zones 6 and 4. While 6 and 4 are outside of the major flows of time, they receive two minor flows from the Torque - 6 receives the 24 flow from 7, and the 6 flow from 3, while 4 receives the 13 flow from 5. These "entry" points are the underlying basis of magick, since they allow a person with "access" to zone-3, zone-5, or zone-7 to project influence throw minor flows into the more powerful Archetypal zones, via zone-4 or zone-6. This influence is then carried by minor flows into Zone-a, and thus through minor flows into the Plexwarp. From zone-4, zone-6, and zone-a, the influence is also carried via major flows into other parts of the Torque, until all components of the central time-circuit carry a degree of the influence of the magickal suggestion. Likewise, Jungian synchronicity comes via the "exit" points of the Archetypal, where minor flows from that region enter the Torque. Namely, zone-3, which receives the 3 flow from zone-2, and the 30 flow from zone-8. The time-fuckery spoken of by the CCRU is accomplished through the 39 flow, which runs against the major flow of time, proceeding from zone-9 to zone-1, despite the major flow of time running from zone-1 and zone-a to zone-9.

They share similar features: many have a time-circuit, and all five examples given have a Plex-like/Warp-like region. So what I'm trying to do is to pass a socket, initially created in Java, to native C++ code in order to use Windows platform specific socket libraries. I learned that I need to acquire the file descriptor of the Java socket and pass this value to native code in order to recreate that Java Socket object as a C++ Socket object so I can reference that same socket natively. So, I currently got as far as attempting to get the file descriptor value off of the Java Socket object.
I used reflection, as demoed in the code block below, to access the file descriptor. However, for some reason when I run the code the file descriptor is null and I'm not sure of the reason. I must admit, the StackOverflow post that I referenced to do this is a bit dated, so likely a difference in JDK versions might have an impact here. However, when I did some further googling I couldn't find others who have encountered this issue.
When I debugged into my application (without the reflection code below in case it had side effects), I noticed as I stepped through the JDK socket code that the file descriptor is always null. It looks like it is never used. I'm aware that file descriptors are a Unix concept so I thought me being on Windows might be the cause of the problem, but when I debugged my app again on Linux I encountered the same thing, the file descriptor was null. It's still a bit ambiguous to me whether using the file descriptor is appropriate, as I want to get this to work on Windows and Windows doesn't have file descriptors, but what made me think otherwise was this example repo here, which is closely mirroring what I want to do (although I want to use JNI and the example repo is using JNA).
So, just to surmise, does anyone understand/know the reason why the file descriptor within the SocketImpl class is always null? I feel like I'm missing some obscure info here or maybe I misunderstood something. Intuitively, I know it's probably a difference in JDK versions that's impacting this, but I'm not sure of the reason why the file descriptor is null/not set in a more recent JDK version (eg. like JDK 19, which is what I'm using).

1. Our Korean Response to the takedown claim - From Iron Mace
We are Iron Mace, a game developer in Korea developing the PC game Dark & Darker. Through this document, we will deal with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act Take Down Notice (DMCA Take Down Notice) filed against us by Nexon Korea Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Nexon”), and our position on allegations of copyright infringement and leakage of trade secrets.

We used as many 3D game objects as possible, purchased from the Asset Store, which account for most of the cost and time required for game development.
Also, with the permission of the artists, it was developed with a focus on game design and programming.
The server code did not exist because there were no server programmers on the P3 project team. However, Iron Mace was developed by employing senior-level server programmers from the beginning to create a stable server architecture.

Not much influence here. I was allowed to do whatever I wanted most of the time apart from some conflicts that greatly affected my personality and self-esteem. I'd say that it was selective freedom of choice; when their interests didn't conflict with mine, things were just fine, and it could be quite depressing when the opposite was the case.

I'm a freelance translator, working from home since 2019 for obvious reasons. I don't like it much, it's just tolerable. I would feel lonely first when completely on my own. I'm from a small town, and it happens a lot. Nope, I hate the very idea of taking responsibility for others, and that's what leadership positions imply. Hard to say. I've tried knitting, love these things and really want to make and wear some! I've never had enough patience though. What I know for sure is that I'd definitely prefer to work with my hands rather than spending my time "intellectualizing" things and analyzing.

I greatly value the present moment and use the past and future when required for making the present moment more significant, if that makes sense. One can be efficient only having got into their own flow of life.

From the VAK test, I'm 80% kinesthetic, 15% auditory and 5% visual. As for learning environments, I'd hate the approaches lacking interaction or practical tasks to do on my own. Or not challenging enough as I start to get distracted and consequently distract others around me. So, my preferences are physical senses and creativity, logic is fine, but memorization is not for me (when I have to do this thing, I create a bunch of associations just to have some fun, e.g. the notes make shapes, let's see what shapes are there)

I've always been struggling with strategizing. I try to occasionally develop some strategy, more like a rough direction to take, but even if I break up projects into manageable tasks, I'll never follow through until I get the right feeling for it (which never happens if it's a plan). So, I improvise while having some direction of where I want to be in the end without thinking much of the result, just doing my best at the moment and making choices on the go.

I have only one passion in life, which is music, and all I want is to eventually have a job, related to it in a way, while saving enough time for music practice. Nothing like a proper career and stuff.

7am: wake. super groggy. Drink two gulps of fanta to actually wake and immediately regret it
8am: on the bus to work. Today is going to be a slow day which is nice.
8:30am: grab a rhubarb and rose yogurt for breakfast ($2). Delicious. Have to order this somehow when I'm back in the states.
12pm: Brought eggplant and bolognese for lunch. Eat with another intern and talk random stuff about our phds.
4:30pm: leaving early cuz today is my bf's last night in the country. I head to a bakery and grab a croissant and pretzel and baguette ($7) for him as an apology for an argument we had yesterday. I also head to a grocery to grab a pumpkin ($10) for curry later. I race to the bus! Almost miss it. Everyone is looking at me because I'm panting and I feel that strange awkwardness you get from being caught running without gym clothes.
6pm: Back home. We heat up leftovers (ramen for me and bolognese for him) and watch a chill video about balancing in gaming. It was either this or a math video and the math video was too long.
7pm: I ask him about when he's coming back to see me so I can let my mom know if my schedule fits my family's June paris trip or not (my mom's extremely hyped about this so I would like to come.) Because he's been dragging his feet figuring out his schedule we get into another argument, which then carries back into our argument from yesterday.
9pm: Answer some emails and book a flight for my return trip because my sister is going to her dream college and I want to be with her on visit week ($156)
10pm: I'm trying to read my paper for tomorrow's meeting but it's not going well because we are still talking about our problems
12pm: We cuddle and sleep. Argument's not resolved because neither wants to give

7am: wake and wake up bf. He's leaving today and so we cuddle, but like sadly (LDR, whats new.) Eventually I get hungry so I go and munch on plums. I am a bit distracted because I have a lot of meetings that I'm not well prepared for.
8:30am: catch bus. We joke a bit about yesterday's argument. Eventually, say goodbye when I transfer trams. I watch a video to prepare for my first meeting on the tram. Then I have a meeting, read to prepare for next meeting, rinse, repeat. Go out to eat with coworkers ($18)--conversations are so awkward (because of me. I don't have the extra mental capacity to try socializing with overworked dudes 4 years older than me and I've lost a concerning amount of EQ over the course of my phd.)
2:00pm: After a particularly stressful meeting (went well, thanks to my clutch skills) I decide I need to take a walk outside as a break. I go to the bakery to buy a chocolatine and apple danish ($5). I am not even hungry. I am just retail theraping and desserts look cute and smell good. Head back and have string of meetings until the end of the day. Very angry about my schedule
5:30pm: say fuck it cuz my brain is shot and go home. Why am I the only one who leaves before 6? Isn't this supposed to be Europe? I hate working a 9-6.
6pm: eat dinner (ramen), shower with rice on the stove (no rice cooker), rice burns omg now the bottom of the pan is burnt. I soak the pan overnight and leave my personal pan out for people to use.
7pm: reddit as revenge procrastination. I make a note to buy steel wool for the burnt pan
9pm: start writing money diary. Have wayy too much fun writing money diary while snacking on Comte and aloe vera water
11pm: realize its late and I have to finish reading a paper for Friday. I read a bit of the paper
1am: sleep

6am: Wake and look at random stuff on reddit for an hour and a half. I don't feel that hungry so I head out to work.
8:30am: I am very sleepy for some reason. I don't have a lot of meetings today, so I check emails, slack, and find a manageable task for the day. I end up getting distracted dealing with administrivia (ugh visa work!) I see that I have a seminar I want to attend the night and mark that down too.
10am: I decide I should try doing something productive so I start brainstorming. It doesn't really get anywhere, but I've realized that I probably need to read another paper to get a better idea of what I should do.
12pm: Head out to eat with other interns. I get shawarama ($16.) Delicious. Head back for more meetings. I try to read a bit but my focus is pretty shot so I start doing a more chill writeup instead.
7pm: We are having drinks at a bar tonight, and it takes time for people to get ready so I work late. We head out to the bar, which is crowded. I order a burger and soda because I don't want to make my sickness worse ($20.) We have a good time chatting and I get closer with some coworkers I didn't know well.
7:45pm: I say goodbye and leave early. As I'm scrolling through my phone on the late night bus, I realize that I've missed the seminar. I'm legitimiately devastated. I was thinking this seminar would help a lot with me pushing through a huge bottleneck in my thesis that's been stressing me out for the last year. I panic message my labmate to ask if the seminar was recorded, and thank the fucking lord, buddha, allah, hayao miyazaki, yes. It was recorded. My pants on fire are doused, my soul is saved. I cannot wait to fucking graduate.
9pm: I get back and notice the cleaning lady's cleaned the burnt pan. I feel a bad but grateful. After showering I am tired as hell. I really can't work today, but I stubbornly stay awake thinking that if I lay in bed scrolling through eBay long enough I might recharge. It doesn't work but I find some really nice stuff (cool architectural glass vase from a designer whose stuff I usually hate, secondhand clothes from one of my fav designers, suitcase from a brand with a style that I love but quality that is absolute trash for its price, and a gift for my college friend for her next bday) that I want to bid on.

6am: Wake and look at videos but now with zen. I have come to terms with my laziness. I get out of bed at 7:30 instead of 7:45 (progress!) and I snack on the chocolatine from two days ago. I finally find the time and motivation to deal with some administrivia and I head to work. On my morning bus trips, I like to press my forehead against the cool window glass and zone out to stripes of greenery but today I'm thinking about eBay and how I might travel to go visit my favorite eBay stores in person lol. A quick google search shows that a roundtrip ticket is $200. Interesting.
12am: Nice lunch with coworkers at a bakery. I get a croissant sandwich ($6) and a gift for one of my coworker friends ($14).
4pm: I wrap up writing a draft and go chat and review some stuff for school and then catch up with my coworker friend to give her the gift. 6pm: Head to the grocery for a dinner salad, plums, and some orange-mango juice ($13). Look for steel wool but there is none???
6:30pm: shower because I feel a little under the weather.
8pm: call my bf and tell him some juicy gossip at work. He gets bored around the 1 hour mark.
11pm: I start working on my writeup for school. I message the dude who is receiving the writeup that it's gonna be late. He is really nice about it but I feel like I'm taking advantage of his kindness because I am always late. Disappointed in myself but not sure how to change.
1am: sleep

6am: wake. Seriously not motivated to continue the writeup. I waste time on eBay and youtube for 5 hours.
11am: get dressed, brush teeth, and look alive. I've been planning out my day a bit so I call my bf while I clean my room and check up on my fridge. I toss out a quarter kg of ground beef that I forgot to finish, it is two days past expiry. I take stock of what I need for meal prep this week (carrot, onion, meat, steel wool) and load up my laundry before heading to the grocery. I end up also getting a lightweight aluminum bowl (it says stainless steel though??) for washing, blueberries, dried mangos, mushroom medley ($35.) I make curry with rice for next week and rice balls to add to miso soup later.
4pm: Eat curry. I call my bf after and try to write my writeup but I get very frustrated over trying to understand a paper and complain to my bf
7pm: I head over to my friend's place for a going-away party. I feel a bit ambivalent about attending because I still have my writeup but I had already agreed to come and I will miss these people when they leave. I want to aim to leave around 9pm. The host's house is lovely and we have some great food.
9:40pm: I head back home, shower, and work on my writeup.
11pm: sleep

7am: wake. My wakeup time is off from normal but then I remember that today is daylight savings in Europe. I still feel tired so I end up watching some dumb videos on youtube. I bid on two items on eBay ($70...tentatively). My friend from uni messages me about meeting up to chat tonight. Hyped.
11:45am: I remember my clothes are still in the dryer. The landlord wants the laundry room free between 11am and 3pm for airbnb reasons. I rush down to grab them. I got there right on time because the landlord has 3 minutes on the washer left.
12pm: Heat up curry and eat it with an apple, some Comte, and a plum. I take a supplement with water. I've been forgetting to do that.
12:30pm: Start working on writeup. I am determined to finish it before there is no sun left so I can enjoy the outdoors a little this weekend. Have my bf on vc.
4pm: One of my bfs jokes lands the wrong way and we have to talk about it. I'm fuming mad because I'm wasting time here.
6pm: Facetime with my friend from college! It's been awhile so we catch up for a long time. 9pm: Heat dinner (curry) and eat. Then I go and read a bit more.
11pm: I have a bit of a mental breakdown because I can't finish the writeup by the weekend, and it's not because I don't have time, but because I have bad mental health around it. I have a long heart to heart with my bf over the phone. I cry a little. Life is sometimes hard and everyone's life is really hard at some point. At some point I just start rambling about nothing. I fall asleep at 1:30am.

4am: wake. I have a bit of a shitty morning because my eyes are still swollen. I woke up early to work on this writeup but tbh I'm barely awake and not in the mood. This was a bad idea. I intermittenly wake and sleep between 4am and 6am, of which at tail end I realize that I'm just playing myself for a fool and then I actually sleep for a good hour or so.
7:15am: Wake for real and get ready.
8:30am: Arrive at work. I buy yogurt ($2) and eat a banana while checking emails. I decide to use company time to work on my writeup because I'm blocked at work by someone else right now anyways (this is about as far as my lukewarm ass will r antiwork.)
12am: Lunch with coworkers. I have a sandwich I really don't care for ($10.) I'm a bit woozy from lack of sleep so I don't remember much. Also, I got my period.
1pm: Meetings, meetings, meetings. So many meetings.
6:30pm: Meetings end. Catch up with my intern friend before she leaves. Will miss her. I go the grocery to buy a baguette ($1) and then go to the fancy, overpriced but also conveniently-located-right-next-to-my-bus-stop bakery to get a croissant and chocolates for my period ($25.)
7:30pm: I grab Mickey D's because I want to. Fish filet sandwich, fries, chicken nuggets, and a soft drink ($18.)
8:00pm: zone out in bed and chat with my bf
11:00pm: Work on the writeup

Honestly, this was the first time in a long time that I had done such a detailed review of my week. I was honestly a bit impressed by how often I wound up on eBay (ngl the times I'm on reddit, I'm oftentimes searching for new brands and designers I like, so that I can go find them...on eBay. It kind of feels a little like I may have a bit of a shopping addiction?) I use it wayy too often to cope. The nice thing about it is that I always find great deals on eBay, but I think it's probably time to switch hobbies.
Also, I need better work hygiene. Like sleep hygiene but for work. I might start going into the office weekends just so that I can wrap up stuff early, leave, and then actually have a weekend.
This week was a bit pricier than usual because I ate out for dinner and bought a plane ticket, but tbh it's not that ooc for me. Food is almost exactly the same as what I spend a week in the US and usually I budget 400/m for misc stuff so it seems like my habits haven't changed much even after moving lol. I know some people might balk at the idea of 800/m for food and 400/m discretionary spending on a 2k/m income but being no car + having the school pay for my insurance (& offering a lot of free things in general) + most importantly, no debt makes it less of a dangerous risk and more of a poor choice lmao. In Europe, I think I will end up spending more on misc things here than back in the US because Europe offers a higher density of concerts, entertainment, and designers that I like within a 30 euros train distance (and 200 euros plane distance for the ones I really like.) My personal preference is to spend <2 hours a month total thinking abt finances (so basically budgeting if I have a major life change + just going thru my CC statement and updating my tracker) so I am happy with how I spend and prefer to overspend a bit rather than think about it too much.
For those who are curious, my monthly budget here:
food (weekly): 70 for groceries + unavoidable 50 for eating with coworkers 3x a week
overall (monthly): 3700 (income) - 2500 (rents) = 1200 - 300 (food after sodexo) = 900 - 600 (misc spending) = 300 (base savings) + 1000 (relocation) = 1300 (total savings) + a bit more after tax return

I have an issue that is a bit annoying and wonder if anybody knows how to solve it. When I'm running I'm listening to spotify with headphones connected to my cellphone. My Garmin 7 is also connected to the the cellphone. When I get the notifications (by voice) with laptime, heart rate etc I hear only a few words (or part of word) of the info and the notification is basically not understandable. At the same time spotify is not paused and therefore some seconds are cut out (I am listening to podcasts so sometimes this is a problem, and sometimes not).
